Miller’s Hot Start

Gage Miller has begun his professional career playing for the Jupiter Hammerheads, the Class A affiliate of the Miami Marlins, who selected him 92nd overall in the 2024 MLB Draft. As of Sunday, Miller has appeared in 7 games and is batting .375 with a .485 OBP. He has 33 plate appearances that have produced 9 hits, 2 doubles, 6 walks, 6 runs, and 4 RBI. If he continues with this level of production, Miller may only spend a short time at the Low-A level before getting an opportunity to prove himself playing for the High-A Beloit Sky Carp. When this happens, one lucky reader will get a piece of Sky Carp merch.  (published 8/12 @ 5:00 am)

Recently, Lebanon Girls’ Basketball star Kailah Correa committed to continue her playing career at the University of Delaware. The rising senior has led the Cedars to three straight Section Championships and is on pace to become the 10th player in the history of the Lancaster Lebanon League. Special thanks to Steve Snyder, who broke the news last week via his socials.  (published 8/12 @ 5:00 am)
