Over the course of the past two weeks, there were three separate District 3 Championships that were played: Team, Singles, & Doubles. LebCo had representatives in each of these competitions. When all of the tennis was done, the Cedar Crest Team and Palmyra’s Doubles pairing of Aidan Mahaffey & Tyler Mahaffey had earned their spots in the PIAA State Tournament.

The Falcons qualified for the PIAA State Team Tournament, which will take place beginning on Tuesday, May 16th when they will travel to Altoona to face Hollidaysburg, the District 6 Champion.

For the Mahaffeys, this is their third straight District 3 Doubles Championship. As a result, the juniors will play in the PIAA State Doubles Championship Tournament beginning on May 26th in Hershey. They will enter the tournament at the defending champions.
