PIAA State Championships – Detailed Results
Griffin Gonzalez (LEB): Lost his quarterfinal matchup, but then won in the third round of consolations to guarantee a medal. Will wrestle again at 9:00 am on Saturday to determine his pathway. May finish as high as 3rd place.
Aaron Seidel (NL): Won his quarterfinal and semifinal matchup. Will defend his State title on Saturday afternoon.
Sam Wolford (NL): Won an exciting overtime match in the second consolation round before losing in the third consolation. Ended the PIAAs with two victories.
Ashton Kriss (ELCO): Won his first match before falling in the 3rd round of consolations. Ended the PIAAs with two victories.
