Northern Lebanon 45, Donegal 27
Following key Section 3 victories over Lampeter-Strasburg and Manheim Central, the Lady Vikings hit the road Tuesday night for a matchup with Donegal, looking to extend their winning streak to six games.
Northern Lebanon wasted little time asserting control. A balanced offensive effort in the 1st quarter, led by Kasey Weimer with 6 points, helped the Vikings build a 14–9 lead.
The momentum carried into the 2nd quarter, as Northern Lebanon continued to execute on both ends of the floor. The Vikings limited Donegal’s scoring chances while adding to their own total, with Saoirse Phillips scoring 8 points in the quarter and Weimer adding 5 more. By halftime, Northern Lebanon held a comfortable 29–16 advantage.
While the 3rd quarter was played much tighter, the Vikings responded with a strong closing quarter to seal the victory and remain in control down the stretch.
Weimer finished the night with a game-high 18 points, while Phillips joined her in double figures with 14.

Cedar Crest 59, McCaskey 47
Following four straight victories — including three wins over Section 1 opponents — the Lady Falcons hit the road on Thursday evening hoping to make it five in a row and further tighten their grip on the Section 1 standings.
The game got off to a fast-paced start, with the 1st quarter ending in a 14-14 tie. Kaila Francis and Ryan Stopper each scored 4 points in the opening frame.
In the 2nd quarter, McCaskey clamped down defensively, making it difficult for Cedar Crest to find consistent offense. As a result, the Red Tornado took a 24-19 lead into halftime, putting the Falcons’ win streak in jeopardy.
Out of the break, Cedar Crest flipped the script. Elli Malinoski came out firing, knocking down two three-pointers on her way to 10 points in the 3rd quarter. Francis added 7 points as the Falcons outpaced McCaskey 21-12 to take control of the game.
Entering the 4th quarter with a four-point lead, Cedar Crest hit the gas and pulled away for good. Malinoski scored 7 points, Francis added 6, and Ali Groff chipped in 6 more as the Falcons closed out the victory.
Francis and Malinoski each finished with 20 points. Francis was strong at the free-throw line, going 6-7, while Malinoski showcased her perimeter shooting with three three-pointers.

Northern Lebanon 32, Manheim Central 21
Northern Lebanon entered Tuesday night carrying a 10-2 record, with one of those losses coming on December 11th when the Lady Vikings traveled to Manheim Central. This time around, they were eager to even the score in round two.
From the opening tip, Northern Lebanon set the tone defensively. In the 1st quarter, the Vikings completely locked down the Barons, holding them scoreless for the full eight minutes. Hayley Sheroky scored 5 points in the opening frame as Northern Lebanon jumped out to a 7-0 lead.
Manheim Central found some footing in the 2nd quarter and actually outscored the Vikings, but Northern Lebanon still carried a 14-8 advantage into halftime. Sheroky continued her strong night, adding another 7 points before the break.
In the 3rd quarter, Central attempted to climb back into the game by applying pressure, forcing Northern Lebanon to earn points at the free throw line. Free throws from Sheroky, Selah Martino, and Zeah Zerman helped the Vikings maintain control, taking a 23-15 lead into the final quarter.
Northern Lebanon stayed composed down the stretch. In the 4th quarter, the Vikings went 5-for-6 from the line as a team, while Saoirse Phillips knocked down two field goals on her way to 6 points, allowing Northern Lebanon to protect the lead and close out the win.

ELCO traveled to Donegal on Tuesday night looking to snap a four-game losing streak, and the Lady Raiders did just that with a strong second-half response.
The game opened at a deliberate pace, with Donegal holding a slim 10-9 edge after one quarter. Offense was hard to come by in the 2nd quarter as well, and at halftime ELCO found itself trailing 15-11.
Coming out of the break, the Lady Raiders flipped the script. ELCO surged in the 3rd quarter, outscoring Donegal 16-3 to take control of the game. Kenzie Eckhart led the charge, scoring 9 points in the quarter while anchoring the effort on both ends of the floor.

In the 1st quarter, Annville built a 12-4 lead, with five different Dutchmen contributing on the offensive end—an early sign of the balanced attack to come. Just as important was the defensive intensity, which set the tone for the rest of the night.
That formula continued in the 2nd quarter, as Georgia Sellers and Cait Shay each scored 6 points to help Annville stretch the lead to 33-10 by halftime. Coming out of the break, the Dutchmen left no doubt, outscoring Octorara 16-2 in the 3rd quarter to put the game firmly out of reach. Cedar Crest entered Monday night’s “Youth Night” at home as winners of three straight, a run that has vaulted the Lady Falcons to the top of the Section 1 standings. Against Hempfield, they had an opportunity to further strengthen their postseason positioning.
The game opened at a deliberate pace, with the Black Knights edging out to a 10–8 lead after one quarter, despite 4 points apiece from Ryan Stopper and Kaila Francis. That brief advantage would be Hempfield’s last of the night.

On Monday night, the Cedars made the trip to Lancaster to face McCaskey. Early on, the Red Tornado set the tone, jumping out to a 15–7 lead in the opening quarter. While the Lebanon defense slowed McCaskey in the 2nd quarter, the Cedars still found themselves trailing by seven at halftime. In the 1st half, Lebanon’s offense ran almost entirely through Olive Brandt, who scored 15 points to keep the Cedars within striking distance.
In the 3rd quarter, McCaskey was able to add to its lead, pushing Lebanon into a 10-point deficit heading into the final eight minutes. With the game on the line, Brandt delivered a remarkable effort, pouring in 19 points in the 4th quarter, highlighted by three three-pointers. Unfortunately, the comeback bid fell just short as McCaskey was able to hang on for the victory.
Brandt finished the game with an incredible 43 points, an effort that included five three-pointers and a 12-of-14 performance from the free throw line. As impressive as the performance was, the competitor in Brandt would have undoubtedly preferred it to come with a win.
