4A: #3 Wyomissing 42, #2 Northern Lebanon 39 – Semifinal – The Lady Vikings trailed from the 2nd quarter on, but kept battling until the final buzzer. The persistant effort was led with 15 points from Olivia Shutter, with the senior scoring 12 in the 2nd half. Haley Sheroky scored 12 points and Kasey Weimer joined her in double-figures, scoring 10 points. Northern Lebanon (21-5) will host Delone Catholic on Thursday to determine who will finish 3rd in District 3.
1A: #4 Veritas Academy 43, #9 Our Lady of the Cross 31 – Consolation Semis – After losing to Veritas Academy by 36 points at the beginning of February, this game on paper looked like it could be lopsided. However, the paper did not account for the heart the Lions would show when they took the floor at Warwick. Though, it was a loss, OLC battled hard and kept the game within reach throughout. The effort was led by Riley Hatzfeld as the senior scored 27 points, a performance that included five three-pointers. OLC (14-9) finishes their 2nd season, having won the first District 3 Playoff game with last week’s double OT win over Covenant Christian.
