Downingtown West 40, Cedar Crest 33 – On Saturday afternoon, the Lady Falcons welcomed one of District 1’s best 6A teams to The Cage. Ultimately, the visitors left with a win to move to 14-2 on the season. The Crest resistance was led by Elli Malinoski, who hit four threes on her way to a team-high 14 points. Lily Thomas had 8 points & Kaila Francis scored 7. Cedar Crest (9-7) will will travel to Lampeter-Strasburg on Tuesday.
York Suburban 55, Palmyra 30 – A day after defeating Milton Hershey, the Lady Cougars were on the road to take on one-loss York Suburban on Saturday afternoon. Mya Doster had 12 points, while Addi Salus scored 9, but it was not enough to keep up with their hosts. Palmyra (6-7) will travel to Hempfield on Monday evening.
Boys Basketball
Cedar Crest 73, Methacton 52 – The Falcons traveled to Manheim to take on a top-10 District 1 team, Methacton. The Warriors were no match for Crest’s offensive firepower that featured four players in double-figures. Danny Speaks led the way with 21 points, including two threes. Isaac Wolfe hit four shots from beyond the arc on his way to 14 points. Also scoring 14 was Cam Tirado, also knocking down two treys. RJ Young scored 13, including going a perfect 5-5 from the foul line. Cedar Crest (11-4) will host Lampeter-Strasburg on Tuesday night.
Pottsville 61, Palmyra 56 – The Cougars played hard, but lost a close battle against visiting Pottsville on Saturday afternoon. Braydon Bown led Palmyra with 14 points, as the junior hit two threes and was 4-4 from the foul line. Alex Dorta & Micah Warner each scored 13. Palmyra (6-9) will host Lower Dauphin on Wednesday as they look to improve their prospects for the postseason.

Girls Basketball
Lebanon 66, Wilson 63 – The Cedars won the battle of two of District 3’s best at LHS on Friday night. The Big Three proved to be too much for the Bulldogs as Kailah Correa scored 25 (7-7 FTs), Lili Harrison scored 20, & Olive Brandt scored 19. Lebanon (13-3) will travel to Governor Mifflin on Monday.
Annville-Cleona 47, Linden Hall 13 – The Dutchmen led 35-6 as they coasted to victory over visiting Linden Hall. With 20 points on the night, Kendall Cooper was once again AC’s leading scorer. Valeria Russo also reached double digits with 10 points. Annville-Cleona (11-5) will travel to Biglerville on Tuesday.
Our Lady of the Cross 48, Alliance Christian 18 – With a balanced scoring effort, the Lions prevailed on the road. Riley Hatzfeld was once again the leading scorer with 17 points, including hitting four three pointers. MacKenzie Waters clocked in with 14 points, while Sarah Ventura scored 7. In total, OLC had six players put up points in this win. Our Lady of the Cross (5-3) will be in search of their 5th straight win when they travel to Linden Hall on Monday night.
New Covenant 45, Harrisburg Academy 19 – Qynne Demler & Miracle Hershey led the Flames to victory on Friday night. Demler had 21 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, & 3 steals. Hershey had a double-double registering 11 points & 12 steals, while also collecting 6 boards, 5 assists. New Covenant (9-2) will travel to play Lititz Christian on Tuesday.

New Covenant 85, Harrisburg Academy 60 – The Flames were victorious on the road following a 2nd half explosion during which they put up 52 points. Leading the way were Talan Vanderploog with 28 points & Gradyn Summers with 23 points. New Covenant (7-7) will be back in action when they travel to Lititz Christian on Tuesday.
Big Spring 62, Annville-Cleona 24 – Playing on the road without injured Elisha Slabach, the Dutchmen struggled to find their rhythm, suffering a tough loss. Jon Shay was the team’s leading scorer with 9 points. Annville-Cleona (8-7) will host Camp Hill on Monday.
Milton Hershey 45, Palmyra 39 – The Cougars put up a fight, but fell just short against one of District 3’s best. In the game, Alex Dorta had two threes and went 5-6 from the line to lead Palmyra with 21 points. With 11 points, Micah Warner joined Dorta in double figures. Palmyra (6-8) will host Pottsville on Saturday.
Pequea Valley 36, Northern Lebanon 30 – Brady Krall & Riley Messinger each scored 12, but the Vikings lost the defensive battle against visiting Pequea. Brian Bicksler made it interesting with two three pointers in the 3rd quarter. Northern Lebanon (4-11-1) will travel to Lancaster Country Day on Tuesday.

Boys: ELCO 53, Northern Lebanon 16 – The Raiders won the much anticipated matchup, taking control of LL Section 3 with the victory. Winning matches for ELCO were Ashton Kriss, Mitchell Fredrick, Klint Miller, Brinley Donmoyer, David Nelson, Kyle Miller, Cody Landis, Aleric Raihl, Bain Blauch, & Kane Kline. Taking matches for the Vikings were Sam Wolford, Karter Adams, and Aaron Seidel.

Girls Basketball
Cedar Crest 54, McCaskey 33 – The Lady Falcons defended their home court against the Red Tornado. After a closely contested 1st quarter, Crest built a 28-11 lead by the half and then preserved the lead the rest of the way. The victorious effort was led by freshman Elli Malinoski, who scored 22 points. Kaila Francis provided 8 points to the cause. As a team, Crest was 8-9 from the free throw line. Cedar Crest (9-6) is set to host Downingtown West on Saturday.
Lebanon 55, Penn Manor 35 – Kailah Correa hit four 1st quarter threes on her way to scoring 16 points. The offensive output gives her 1,886 career points as she passed Jess Lentz (’98) as the all-time Lebanon career points leader. Lili Harrison was the team’s leading scorer on the night, scoring 17. Olive Brandt had three treys on her way to 15 points. Lebanon (12-3) will host Wilson on Friday evening.
Northern Lebanon 40, Donegal 7 – Kasey Weimer scored 12 & Olivia Shutter had 10 to lead the Lady Vikings on the offensive end, while a total team effort shut down Donegal on the defensive end of the floor. Northern Lebanon (13-2) will have some time off before returning to action next Wednesday when they will travel to Susquenita seeking their 6th straight victory.
Lampeter-Strasburg 50, ELCO 25 – The Lady Raiders lost a tough one on the road. Kenzie Eckhart led with 9 points, while Maddie Stout had 7. ELCO (9-6) will look to get back into the win column when they travel to Cocalico on Tuesday evening.

Lampeter-Strasburg 53, ELCO 49 – Kaden Shultz Tillison led the Raiders with 19 as the pressed LS throughout the game. Josiah Hayes tallied 11 points & Paul Williams had 9. ELCO (5-9) will host Cocalico on Tuesday.
Penn Manor 63, Lebanon 51 – The game was very close until a surge by Penn Manor in the 4th quarter allowed the Comets to break away. For the Cedars, freshman Derek Franco led the offense with 20 points, including going 5-6 from the charity stripe. Ben DiScuillo scored 9, while Manny Martinez chipped in 8. Lebanon (6-11) will host undefeated Hershey on Monday night.

Palmyra 38, Red Land 31 – Elijah Foltz, Jason Foutz, Nicolas Gordon, Tyler Detwiler, Aaron Andrew, Alex Csongradi, & Jayson Albright each won contested matches for the Cougars to aid the winning effort. Palmyra (11-4) will have another Keystone matchup when they face Lower Dauphin on Saturday.
Solanco 66, Lebanon 9 – Juan Ramos Vazquez earned a hard-fought 11-9 decision to win the only contested match for the Cedars.

Girls Basketball
Our Lady of the Cross 51, Antietam 47 – Riley Hatzfeld was too much for Antietam to contain, as the senior went off for 42 points to lead the Lions in the road victory over their 3A host. Her scoring included three 3-pointers and a 15-19 performance from the foul line. OLC (4-3) will be back on the road on Friday when they take on Alliance Christian.
Annville-Cleona 50, Lancaster Country Day 35 – Days after the passing of their father, the Sanchez brothers squared off in a coaching match-up on Wednesday night. Kendall Cooper led the Dutchmen to victory, scoring 22 points. Savannah Kleinfelter had 12, while Liliana Sanchez scored 10. Sanchez’s cousin, Sophia, was LCDS’s leading scorer with 16 points. Annville-Cleona (10-5) will host Linden Hall on Friday.

ELCO 47, Donegal 46 (OT) – Maddie Stout scored 17 & Kenzie Eckhart had 12 as the Lady Raiders prevailed in overtime at home. The win was the 700th in program history. ELCO (9-5) will travel to Lampeter-Strasburg on Thursday.
Northern Lebanon 37, Manheim Central 32 – The Lady Vikings earned the road win behind 17 points from Saoirse Phillips & 9 points from Kasey Weimer. Northern Lebanon (12-2) will host Donegal on Thursday.
Our Lady of the Cross 55, Harrisburg Christian 46: Riley Hatzfeld poured in 39 points to pace the Lions. In the game, Hatzfeld connected on four three-pointers. Sarah Ventura & MacKenzie Waters each scored 6 points. Our Lady of the Cross (3-3) will travel to Antietam on Wednesday.

Palmyra 32, Cedar Cliff 30 – Trailing most of the way, the Cougars had the final shot with the game knotted at 30 a piece. After some decent ball movement, the ball went to junior Micah Warner for the final shot. Warner connected on the shot taken just inside the free throw line to deliver the victory. Warner led the Cougars with 11 points, 6 of which he scored in the 4th quarter. Alex Dorta had 9 points in the game. Palmyra (6-7) will host Milton Hershey on Friday.
Donegal 65, ELCO 61 (OT) – A close battle resulted in overtime, but in the end the host Indians were able to outlast the Raiders. Micah Gray scored 25 to lead ELCO, while Kaden Shultz Tillison provided 17, including three three pointers. ELCO (5-8) will host Lampeter-Strasburg on Thursday evening.

Lebanon 82, McCaskey 39 – Kailah Correa was cooking on Monday night on her way to a school record 47 points. The senior, who is quickly closing in on the 2,000 point mark, hit 7 three pointers and was 8-8 from the line in an epic shooting performance. Liliana Harrison & Olive Brandt each scored 13 points for the Cedars in the runaway victory. Lebanon (11-3) will host Penn Manor on Thursday.
Annville-Cleona 56, Octorara 27 – Kendall Cooper scored 22 points to lead the Dutchmen. Savannah Kleinfelter joined her in double digits, hitting a 2nd quarter three ball on her way to 15 points. Annville-Cleona (9-5) will travel to Lancaster Country Day on Wednesday.
Hempfield 39, Cedar Crest 37 – A tight game throughout, the Lady Falcons were stopped just short of their 5th straight victory. Lilyanna Thomas had 14 points to lead Crest, while Kaila Francis had 10. Cedar Crest (8-5) will be back in action when they host McCaskey on Thursday.

Northern Lebanon 50, Annville-Cleona 36 – On a night when Annville’s Elisha Slabach surpassed the 1,000 point mark for his career, it was the Vikings who left The Barn as the victors. Tied 19-19 at the half, NL used a strong 2nd half to pull away. Andrew Via led the way for the Vikings, scoring 17 points, with 15 of those coming after the break. Jon Shay scored 17 to lead the Dutchmen after an injury limited Slabach to just over a quarter of action. Northern Lebanon (4-10-1) will host Pequea Valley on Friday. Annville-Cleona (8-5) will travel to Columbia on Tuesday evening.
Cedar Crest 52, Hempfield 39 – RJ Young & Isaac Wolfe each scored 11 points for the Falcons as they defeated the visiting Black Knights to remain on top of Section 1. Wolfe hit two three pointers & went 2-2 from the foul line. Dylan Groff added 9 points, while Danny Speaks was good for 8. Cedar Crest (9-4) will travel to McCaskey on Thursday, looking to avenge an earlier loss to the Red Tornado.
McCaskey 67, Lebanon 60 – On the road, Robert Santiago scored 15 & Manny Martinez scored 14 to lead a balanced scoring effort from the Cedars, but it was not enough to hold back a strong 2nd half surge by McCaskey. Ben DiScuillo added 10 points, while Derek Franco scored. Lebanon (6-10) will travel to Penn Manor on Thursday.
High Point Baptist 79, New Covenant 55 – Talan VanderPloog scored 25 points to lead the Flames, but it was not enough to fend off visiting High Point. Joining him in double digits were Grant Canakis & Gradyn Summers, each scoring 11. New Covenant (6-7) will travel to play Harrisburg Academy on Friday night.
