FIELD HOCKEY

ELCO 5, Donegal 1 – The Raiders are the Lancaster Lebanon League Section 3 Champions for the 2nd straight year.

Annville-Cleona 3, Northern Lebanon 1 – Danika Setlock, Ava Lopez Brandt, & Kendall Cooper each scored for the Dutchmen, who are now 14-2. Northern Lebanon’s goal came courtesy of Madison Brewer. The Vikings are now 6-9.

Palmyra 3, Red Land 1 – Bri Eckenroth scored twice following a 1st quarter goal by Jovie Weaver, who also had an assist along with Leigha Kane. The Lady Cougars are now 11-3.

GIRLS TENNIS

Lancaster Lebanon League Championship

ELCO’s Reece Woelfling earned a spot in the District 3 Championships.

New Covenant 4, Mount Calvary 2 – Flames goals were scored by Keira Kantner, Kai Hershey, Laney Zimmerman & Lily Rorher. They are now 12-2.

GIRLS SOCCER

ELCO 4, Northern Lebanon 1

Palmyra 3, Red Land 0 – Ava Lindemuth, Delaney Miller, & Kenzie Long all scored as the Lady Cougars improved to 7-8. Miller was also crucial in the winning effort as she was credited with 2 assists.

 

BOYS SOCCER

ELCO 6, Northern Lebanon 1

GIRLS TENNIS

Ephrata 4, Lebanon 1 – The match was shortened due to rain with the Cedars looking like they were going to make the match 4-3. Sally Zheng & AmyMarie Castro Taylor paired for an exciting 9-8 (7-4) win in Doubles.

– With a time of 18:14, Cedar Crest’s Eliana Schneider crossed the line first among all racers.

– Cedar Crest’s Travis Furmanski won the race with a time of 15:02. Despite Hempfield taking the next three spots, a solid group of six Falcons secured the victory for the Falcons.

– Lebanon’s Gavin Sheetz finished 4th overall with a time of 17:17.

 

 

FIELD HOCKEY

ELCO 4, Annville-Cleona 1 – Pacing the Raiders was Kailen Hibshman with 3 goals. She also assisted Meredith Noll on the first goal of the game, a gesture Noll returned when Hibshman scored the game’s second goal. Addie Weiler also had an assist for ELCO. Annville’s goal was scored by Kendall Cooper, assisted by her relay mate, Sophia Caporeletti.

Palmyra 3, Hershey 1 – Maddie Stahl, AJ Walker, & Hadley Hoffsmith each scored for the Lady Cougars. Stahl & Jovie Weaver registered assists.

Warwick 7, Cedar Crest 0 – For the Falcons, Mikalyn Weaber had 15 saves in the cage, while Ava Schreier & Avery Lechleitner were each credited with a defensive save.

 

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Garden Spot 3, ELCO 0 [25-20, 25-20, 25-13] – Kierra Sholl (6 kills, 17 digs, 3 aces), Chloe Shirk (7 kills, 4 blocks), Julia Wenger (16 assists), & Erica Snader (3 aces) each had noteworthy performances for the Raiders.

Manheim Township 3, Cedar Crest 0 [25-15, 25-19, 25-13] – The Falcons put up a fight, led by Bralynn Weise (12 assists, 3 aces), Kenadie Dunsworth (8 kills, 11 digs), & Caroline Heller (1 block).

 

GIRLS SOCCER

Annville-Cleona 5, Lebanon 1 – For the Dutchmen, Rowan Ulrich scored a hat trick. Marley Bucher & Nicole Dennis also scored goals, while Emma Shirk contributed 2 assists. For the Cedars, Janeea Hill-Metz kept found the back of the net.

New Covenant 2, Oley Valley 1 – Kai Hershey & Miracle Hershey each scored as the Flames improved to 11-2.

– Annville-Cleona saw Oliver Funck, David Moran, & Landon Hostetter go 1-2-3 as the team wrapped up their 3rd straight Lancaster Lebanon League Section 3 Championship. Luke Hentz was 4th, leading Northern Lebanon to the victory over Octorara.

– Octorara won a very close race against Annville to win their 2nd straight Section 3 Championship. Lucy Stellmach was the top AC runner, finishing 2nd with a time of 19:30.1.

 

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

ELCO 3, Lebanon 0 [25-17, 25-13, 25-21] – ELCO was paced by Julia Wenger (23 assists), Kierra Sholl (22 digs, 4 aces), Chloe Shirk (14 kills), & Erica Snader (1 block). In the loss, the Cedars saw big performances from Noelani Cruz (11 assists, 11 digs, 1 ace), Ariana Minaya (8 kills), & Jae Burrus (11 digs).

Cedar Crest 3, Warwick 0 [27-25, 25-19, 25-14] – Bralynn Weise (15 assists, 4 aces), Caroline Heller (11 kills, 4 blocks), & Lily Tice (16 digs).
