Track & Field: Vote for the 2024 LebCo All-County Girls Team

Below are the nominees for the 2024 LebCo All-County Girls Track & Field Team. It was challenging to narrow down the list to include just some of the top performers. We are now asking for your assistance in helping us to rank them.

Please read the nominations and then go to the linked form to cast your vote for who you feel deserves top honors.

Voting will remain open through Friday, July 19th at 10 pm.

Sprints

Kendall Cooper (Annville-Cleona)

Junior. Cooper became the District 3 Champion (AA) in the 100m with a time of 12.39 and added silver in the 200m with a time of 26.29. This followed a 5th place finish in the 200m at the Lancaster League Championships. Cooper was the LebCo Champion in both events. The 4x100m that Cooper anchored finished 2nd at the PIAA State Championship, while the 4x400m brought home a 6th place medal.

 

Miracle Hershey (Annville-Cleona)

Junior. At the District 3 AA Championship, Hershey finished 4th in the 100m (12.70) and 6th in the 200m (27.93). She also served as a key member of the 4x100m that took 2nd in the State, as well as the 4x400m that placed 6th. At the LebCo Championship Meet, Hershey took 3rd in the 100m.

 

Delaney Miller (Palmyra)

Junior. Miller was a District 3 qualifier in both the 100m and 200m, events where she recorded top times of 12.74 and 26.70, respectively. At the LebCo Championships, she finished 3rd in the 200m and was a member of the winning 4x400m team.

 

Reece Woelfling (ELCO)

Junior. Woelfling offered ELCO as a top sprint option, as she recorded a top time of 13.0 on the season. She was also a key member of the 4x100m that set the ELCO school record with a time of 50.83.

 

Kaddel Howard (Cedar Crest)

Sophomore. Howard wrapped up her second straight State Championship in the 400m with a winning time of 53.25. On her way to accomplishing the feat, Howard repeated as the District 3 Champion (AAA) while also winning the Lancaster Lebanon League in the 400m and 200m, both in league record times. Her season-best time in the 200m was 24.27. Additionally, Howard served as the anchor on the Cedar Crest 4x800m team that won the District Championship.

 

Maddy Waldron (Palmyra)

Freshman. The speedy youngster set Palmyra records in the 100m (12.58) and 200m (26.11) on her way to earning bronze in the 100m at the Mid Penn Conference Championships. In both events. she was a District 3 qualifier and took 2nd at the LebCo Championships. Waldron also served as a key member of Palmyra’s 4x100m and 4x400m teams.

 

 




 

Distance

Abby Berarducci (Palmyra)

Senior. In the 1600m, Berarducci set the Palmyra school record by running a 5:09.06. She was the LebCo Champion in the event, then went on to finish 3rd in the Mid Penn before placing 12th in the District 3 AAA Championships. She also clocked a 2:24.71 in the 800m, an event in which she took silver at the LebCo Championships.

 

Lizzie Lowe (Cedar Crest)

Senior. In the 800m, Lowe finished 2nd in the Lancaster Lebanon League Championship. She went on to finish 10th at the District 3 AAA Championships while also helping the Falcons take gold in the 4x800m. Her season-best time in the 800m was 2:17.54.

 

Eliana Schneider (Cedar Crest)

Sophomore. The versatile Schneider won the LebCo Championship in the 800m, then finished 3rd in the Lancaster Lebanon League. She was a key member of the District Champion 4x800m relay. Her season-best time in the 800m was 2:17.64.

 

Mackenzie Stellmach (Annville-Cleona)

Sophomore. Stellmach was a PIAA qualifier in the 3200m, where she ultimately finished 23rd in AA. This followed finishing 2nd in the event at Districts, where she also placed 3rd in the 1600m. She was a key member of the Annville 4x800m that took gold at Districts. In the 3200m, she was the LebCo Champion and placed 5th at the Lancaster Lebanon League Meet. Stellmach’s season-best time in the 3200m was 11:24.65, while her best 1600m was 5:29.21.

 

 


 

Hurdles

Carmen McConaghy (Palmyra)

Senior. McConaghy was a District 3 qualifier in the 300m IM Hurdles, recording a season-best time of 48.55. She finished 4th at the LebCo Championships.

 

Sara Miller (ELCO)

Senior. At the Lancaster Lebanon League Championship Meet, Miller earned an 8th place medal in the 300m IM Hurdles. She also qualified for the District 3 Championships in the event with a season-best time of 48.74. At the LebCo Championships, she finished 2nd in the 300m and 3rd in the 100m High Hurdles. Miller’s season-best time in the 100m Hurdles was 16.9.

 

Kaya Missimer (Annville-Cleona)

Junior. Missimer was a District 3 qualifier in both hurdle events, clocking 16.9 and 50.27 as her season-best times. At the LebCo Championships, Missimer finished 3rd in the 300m IM Hurdles.

 

Johbriana Long (Northern Lebanon)

Sophomore. Offering Northern Lebanon a versatile scoring threat, Long ran a season-best time of 17.76 in the 100m Hurdles and 53.22 in the 300m IM Hurdles.

 

Makenzie Wamsher (Cedar Crest)

Sophomore. Wamsher was the LebCo Champion in both the 100m High Hurdles and the 300 IM Hurdles. At the Lancaster Lebanon League Championship Meet, she finished 9th in the 300m. Wamsher recorded season-best times of 16.93 and 47.74, completing the season as a District 3 qualifier in both events.

Jumps

Zariyah Whigham (Lebanon)

Senior. In the Triple Jump, Whigham finished 6th at the PIAA State Championships after being crowned as the District 3 AAA Champion the week prior. The two-time Lancaster Lebanon League Champion finished the season with a top jump of 39’1.25″, the third-longest Triple Jump in the history of the LL. At Districts, Whigham also won a bronze medal in the Long Jump before finishing 19th in the State, an event where her season best measured 18’1.5″. She finished her high school career as Lebanon’s Triple Jump record holder.

 

Makenna Haas (ELCO)

Junior. In the Triple Jump, Haas finished 9th in the State after placing 4th at the District 3 AAA Championships and 2nd in the Lancaster Lebanon League. At Districts, she also placed 10th in the Long Jump and was the LebCo Champ in the event. She finished the season with her best marks being 37’2″ and 17’7″, both ELCO records.

 

Elaina Potter (Palmyra)

Junior. In the Pole Vault, Potter placed 13th at the District 3 AAA Championship Meet. She also placed 5th at the Mid Penn Conference Championships. Her season best in the Pole Vault was 10’10”. Potter was also cleared 4’8″ in the High Jump.

 

Ruby Wolfe (Cedar Crest)

Junior. In the Pole Vault, Wolfe placed 6th at the District 3 AAA Championships with a season-best height of 11’0″. Wolfe also earned a 5th place medal at the Lancaster Lebanon League Meet.

 

Madi Long (Annville-Cleona)

Sophomore. As a Triple Jumper, Long finished 26th at the PIAA State Championships (AA) after earning silver at Districts, where her jump of 35’3″ was nearly 18″ longer than her previous season-best mark. She also placed 5th at Districts in the Long Jump (15’11”).

 

Eliana Schneider (Cedar Crest)

Sophomore. Schneider won the Lancaster Lebanon League Championship in the High Jump by clearing 5’6″. She then placed 4th at the District 3 AAA Championships before placing 13th at the PIAA State Championships. She was the LebCo Champion in the High Jump.

 

 


 

Throws

Ayva Sechman (Northern Lebanon)

Senior. After finishing 2nd at the LebCo Championships in the Shot Put, Sechman went on to finish 9th at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championship Meet. Her season-best throw measured 33’9.5″.

 

Liliana Harrison (Lebanon)

Junior. Harrison was the LebCo Champion in both the Shot Put and Discus. She went on to place 4th at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championships with her season-best throw of 37’9.75″. She threw a 114’5″ to win the County Meet.

 

Sofie Price (Palmyra)

Junior. The Javelin thrower made her third straight trip to States, where she finished 18th. Price was the Mid Penn Champion and also the LebCo Champion before she placed 3rd at the District 3 AAA Championships. Her season-best throw traveled 132’3″.

 

Eliana Schneider (Cedar Crest)

Sophomore. In Javelin, Schneider won Districts (AAA) and the Lancaster Lebanon League before placing 4th at the PIAA State Championships. Her winning throw of 153’1″ at Leagues set a new meet record and was the top throw among the nation’s sophomores. Schneider also placed 3rd at the prestigious Penn Relays.

 




 

 

Relays

Annville-Cleona – 4x100m

Sophia Caporaletti, Kendall Cooper, Miracle Hershey, Jada Morales. With a top time of 49.06, this relay unit kept breaking the Annville school record on their way to a 2nd place finish at the PIAA State Championships (AA). They were also the LebCo Champions.

 

Cedar Crest – 4x800m

Eliana Schneider, Audrey Fugate, Lizzie Lowe, Kaddel Howard. Ran a 9:20.29 to claim the District 3 AAA Championship before finishing 10th at the PIAA State Championship Meet.

 

ELCO – 4x100m

Lizzie Dimov, Becky Dimov, Reece Woelfling, Makenna Haas. With their top time of the season with a 50.83, this group not only finished 6th at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championships, but they re-broke the school record that they had set earlier in the season.

 

Palmyra – 4x100m

Cala Hipple, Helena Baker, Delaney Miller, Maddy Waldron. This group finished 2nd at the LebCo Championship Meet, then went on to finish 10th at the Mid Penn Championships. Their top time of the season was 50.93.
