District 3 Power Rankings Update – January 8, 2024

This is a brief look at where each of the LebCo teams rank in the Power Rankings.  There may sometimes be a lag in some of the Power Rankings, but this should give you an idea as to where each LebCo Basketball and Wrestling team currently stands as they enter into the first full week of 2024.

Below the rankings for each team is an ordered list of the rankings of each LebCo team in Girls Basketball and Boys Basketball. That ranking is based on the District 3 Power Rank rating assigned to each team.

Girls Basketball LebCo Power Rankings

There was a shakeup in the ratings this week, as Lebanon defeated Cedar Crest on Friday, while both Northern Lebanon and Palmyra went undefeated for the week. When looking at the overall landscape of Girls Basketball in LebCo, it is important to point out that currently six teams are on pace to qualify for Districts.

Boys Basketball LebCo Power Rankings

This week’s rankings of LebCo teams have once again remain unchanged, with Cedar Crest retaining the top spot following Thursday’s win over Lebanon and also being helped by Exeter’s win over Reading. ELCO also defeated Northern Lebanon, while the Vikings will look for a second straight win when they face Annville-Cleona this week.
