Bella Paquette

Sophomore forward Bella Paquette made her mark early in the fall season, showcasing the offensive skill and competitive drive that have made her one of Cedar Crest’s most dangerous scoring threats. During the week of September 22nd, Paquette turned in a standout performance, scoring four goals in a high-scoring battle against Hempfield before adding an assist in another tough Section 1 matchup. Her speed, relentlessness, and ability to generate pressure in the circle were bright spots for the Falcons throughout the year.
Originally nominated during the week of September 22nd, Paquette later earned her selection through the Autumn Encore Vote, officially being named a LebCo Athlete of the Week.
As she reflected on the season, Paquette pointed to a team environment that fueled both enjoyment and growth, even amid the demanding competition of Section 1. “This season was a lot of fun. There was a great environment on this team that motivated me to do my best every day,” she said.
That positive mindset helped the Falcons push through a challenging schedule. “Our record did not portray the talent that we had and the success we had within our own team goals,” Paquette added. Cedar Crest finished the season 2–15 in the ultra-competitive Section 1 of the Lancaster-Lebanon League, a division stacked with powerhouse programs such as Manheim Township and Penn Manor.
Despite the tough slate, Paquette focused on her personal development. One of her top goals was building confidence—and she felt she accomplished that. “My personal goal for this season was to become a more confident player. I believe I did achieve that goal.” She also embraced her role within the team, saying, “I fit into the overall goals of the team by bringing the energy during practices and games and always striving to make others around me better.”
Her growth and impact were recognized beyond the program. Following the season, Paquette was named a Section 1 Second Team All-Star, an impressive accomplishment in one of the most competitive divisions in Pennsylvania.
Paquette also made sure to acknowledge those who supported her development. “I would like to thank the coaching staff for pushing me to do my best each and every day,” she said.
Off the field, Paquette remains active and well-rounded. A multi-sport athlete, she also competes in lacrosse and hopes to continue playing at the collegiate level—either in field hockey or lacrosse. Athletic talent runs in her family as well. “Both my older brother and my younger brother are high-leveled athletes,” she shared proudly.
Away from training, she enjoys spending time with friends. When asked what she loves most about sports, her answer reflected the heart of high school athletics: “I enjoy spending time with my teammates and making memories that will last a lifetime.”
With young talents like Paquette leading the way, Cedar Crest has a promising foundation as it looks toward the 2026 season. Congratulations to Bella on her selection as a LebCo Athlete of the Week, and best of luck to her and her Falcons teammates moving forward.
