Jevan Marquette

During the final stretch of the regular season, ELCO sophomore striker Jevan Marquette continued to showcase why he’s one of the most dynamic young players in the county. The standout forward played a pivotal role in helping the Raiders finish strong, scoring in a 3–0 Senior Night win over Pequea Valley and helping ELCO push 4A power Warwick to double overtime before falling 2–1 in the Lancaster-Lebanon League quarterfinals. For his efforts, and for his consistent impact throughout the season, Marquette was voted LebCoSports.com Athlete of the Week.
Marquette’s play has been electric all season — he’s tallied 29 goals and 5 assists, becoming a key part of ELCO’s offensive identity. “Jevan has played an important role in our success this season,” said Coach Brian Marquette, who also happens to be his father.
Coach Marquette continued: “His commitment to improving his game is clear, and his drive and competitiveness raise the level of those around him. I’m excited to see what he and our team can achieve in the postseason.”

For Jevan, the focus has always been on team success and growth. “I’m glad I was able to help the team achieve our goals and win games,” he said. “I want to continue helping our team win, grow as a leader, and set a positive example for my teammates.”
That approach has made Jevan a steady presence in the attack, creating scoring chances and finishing opportunities as the Raiders aim for a deep playoff run.
When he’s not scoring goals for ELCO, Marquette keeps busy as a multi-sport athlete, competing in tennis, golf, and basketball, along with training year-round with his Penn Fusion ECNL soccer team.
Athletic excellence runs in the family. His older brother Camden was an All-State soccer player and LL Player of the Year who now competes at Lock Haven University.
On Monday night, Jevan and the Raiders extended their season with a thrilling win on penalty kicks over East Pennsboro in the opening round of the District 3 Playoffs.
Congratulations to Jevan and best of luck to him and the Raiders as they continue their postseason journey.
