Monday, February 3rd

Girls Basketball

Lancaster Catholic 48, ELCO 39 – Maddie Stout scored 14 & Kenzie Eckhart added 10 points as the Lady Raiders went toe-to-toe with the Crusaders. ELCO (11-10) will wrap up the regular season on Thursday when they host Lower Dauphin.

 

Boys Basketball

New Covenant 57, Fairfield 30 – Talan Vanderploog led the scoring for the Flames, as the sophomore finished the game with 21 points, an effort that included going 11-13 from the free throw line. Alex Hart also reached double-figures with 10 points. New Covenant (12-8) will play at York Country Day on Tuesday before finishing up their regular season on Thursday at home against Harrisburg Academy.

Annville-Cleona 55, Bermudian Springs 47 – Elisha Slabach scored 22 & Jon Shay added 20 points as the Dutchmen picked up the road win after trailing by one at the half. Slabach’s 12-12 performance from the foul line ended up being key in keeping Bermudian Springs from making a late charge. Annville-Cleona (12-8) will host Lancaster Mennonite on Wednesday before finishing up the regular season next Monday against Camp Hill.

Northern Lebanon 56, Gettysburg 45 – The Vikings picked up the home victory in their season finale. Brady Krall registered 22 points to lead the way, with Andrew Via tallying 12 points & senior Riley Messinger scoring 11. The Vikings finish their season 6-15-1.

Manheim Township 59, Lebanon 45 – The Cedars got off to a slow start against a stout Township defense and found themselves trailing 17-2 at the end of the 1st quarter. However, the Cedars continued battling to put up 43 points over the next three quarters of action. Ihab Abdallaoui led Lebanon with 18 points, all of which came in the 4th quarter. Lebanon (7-14) will finish their season on Thursday night when they make the trip to Cocalico.
