B Lancaster Catholic over Lebanon
C Lancaster Catholic 24, Lebanon 6
D Lebanon 6, Lancaster Catholic 0
The Cedar “B” Team fell short against a very good Catholic squad. Julian “Juju” Rodriguez scored the only two touchdowns for Lebanon, as they battled until the end. The defense was led by Kayleigh, Eugene, and Joseph.
The Cedar “C” Team just did not have an answer for the wide runs, as they were able to make the edge and score. However Ethaniel Hernandes was a defensive standout who showed he was unafraid to lay the lumber against larger competition. On offense, the Cedars’ only score came via a 22-yard run from Grayson Painter.
The Cedar “D” Team saw a touchdown by Christian Bowers via a quarterback keeper. That single touchdown was enough to win the game, as the defense was able to keep the Crusaders off the board.

On 12year old recognition day the Panthers started strong with Bentley Landis scoring on a long touchdown run to start the day. Matt White ran in the XP. After a Dalton Kohr interception White took a handoff to the house for a TD.
Another defensive stop by Myerstown set up the offense for a touchdown pass from Braiden Harris to Riley Wert to make the score 19-0 at halftime. Another long White TD run made it 25-0 in the 3rd. Keegan Nye and Kohr each had nice 4th quarter scampers for big gains. Reading scored a late TD and XP to make the final score 25-7. It was a solid team effort by the entire Panthers squad.
Mite Division
The Myerstown Panthers Mites delivered an impressive performance this week, shutting out the Berks County Nightmare 28-0. The game started with a bang as Corbin Showalter took the first handoff from Bennett Staudt 60 yards for a touchdown. The defense quickly followed suit, holding the Nightmare in check and allowing Showalter to score again, with Kaiden Vincent adding the extra point to give the Panthers a 14-0 lead by the end of the first quarter.
Early in the second quarter, the Panthers turned the ball over, but the defense stepped up with key plays from Luca Kirelawich, Tucker Robert, and Wesley Bowman, giving the Panthers a short field to work with. Showalter capitalized, securing his third touchdown on a 20-yard run. Abraham Galindo‘s deep kickoff allowed Bowman to deliver a huge hit, forcing and recovering a fumble. The Panthers turned the turnover into a 30-yard touchdown by Robert, with Easton Shaffer adding the conversion, extending the lead to 28-0 at halftime.
The second half saw key alternates get valuable playing time, but the Panthers’ dominance continued. The entire team stepped up, and the defense held strong, keeping the Nightmare scoreless and securing the shutout. The Panthers’ offensive line played a crucial role, relentlessly protecting Staudt and providing blocks for the running backs to break big plays.
Mighty Mite Division
The Myerstown Panthers Mighty Mites faced off in a tough rematch against Schuylkill Valley, ending in a hard-fought 13-13 tie. Schuylkill Valley received the ball to start the game, but key defensive plays by Leland Zellers, Logan Witmer, and Lee Keppley forced a punt. Myerstown quickly capitalized with a 55-yard touchdown run by Lucas Witmer, followed by a successful extra point conversion from Patrick Lehman, giving the Panthers an early 7-0 lead.
Schuylkill Valley responded with a strong drive of their own, but a missed conversion kept Myerstown ahead 7-6 at halftime. The Panthers got the ball to start the second half and mounted a solid drive, capped off by a 1-yard quarterback sneak from Brody Newswanger to extend their lead to 13-6.
Schuylkill Valley fought back with two big runs for a touchdown and added the extra point to tie the game 13-13. The remainder of the game turned into a defensive battle, with both teams holding strong and neither able to break the deadlock, resulting in a 13-13 tie. The Panthers’ resilience on both sides of the ball was on full display in this back-and-forth contest.
Up Next: Myerstown will visit Conrad Weiser next weekend to cap off their regular season schedules.

Northern Lebanon hosted the Steelton Lil’ Rollers over the weekend! However, the real action of the day came during the Itty Bitty Bowl, where the tiniest Vikings (ages 4-5) battled it out on the gridiron. The Itty Bitty cheerleaders led the crowd in cheers and performed a halftime dance!
Northern Lebanon Viking Midgets sailed to a decisive victory over the Rollers, showcasing a dominant passing attack led by quarterback Markus Miller. In a game marked by impressive offensive performances and a strong defensive effort, the Vikings secured a 34-12 win. Miller’s early connection with Chris Camasta set the tone for the game, as Camasta hauled in an 18-yard touchdown pass to give the Vikings an 8-0 lead. Miller continued to shine, finding Jonathan Zimmerman for a 41-yard touchdown and Vinny Moyer for a 21-yard touchdown pass.
Luke Bennethum added to the Vikings’ offensive arsenal with a rushing touchdown. Just before halftime, Sam Kline took over at quarterback and delivered the Vikings’ final touchdown pass to Ty Martin. Kline found Martin on an “out and up” route, extending the Vikings’ lead to 34-0.
In the 2nd half, Levi Bombgardner moved to quarterback and completed a pass to Martin. While the Rollers managed to score twice, the Vikings’ early dominance was too much to overcome. Defensively, Jackson Walter played a key role in the Vikings’ victory, generating turnovers and multiple tackles for loss.
The game also marked the 8th Grade Recognition of the Northern Lebanon Vikings Midget team. Twenty-three 8th graders were honored for their dedication and contributions to the program. Their presence and hard work have been instrumental to the success of the Northern Lebanon Midget Football Association.
