District 3 Power Rankings Update – January 29, 2024

This is a brief look at where each of the LebCo teams rank in the Power Rankings.  There may sometimes be a lag in some of the Power Rankings, but this will give you an idea where the basketball teams currently stand, along with where the wrestling teams finished.

Below the rankings for each team is an ordered list of the rankings of each LebCo team in Girls Basketball and Boys Basketball. That ranking is based on the District 3 Power Rank rating assigned to each team.

Girls Basketball LebCo Power Rankings

With two wins this past week, Lebanon now holds the top spot in the 6A rankings. A rare loss by Palmyra and continued winning by Northern Lebanon created a minor shake-up in how the LebCo teams stack up.

Boys Basketball LebCo Power Rankings

The volatility of the playoff push has again affected the landscape of local basketball. While Cedar Crest held their position and ELCO improved their District odds, Palmyra and New Covenant moved up in the LebCo specific rankings with key wins. Annville-Cleona slid down in rankings this week, losing two very tough games, each by three points.
