Last season, Our Lady of the Cross did not have a PIAA Basketball program. This season, they made it to Districts as the new Lebanon Catholic began to rebuild under the legendary Patti Hower. At the #10 seed, the Lions had the arduous task of taking on battle-tested #7 Greenwood.
While this game was not close, Our Lady played hard until the final buzzer. Moreover, this game was a reflection of just how far the local parochial community has come in rebuilding following the closure of Lebanon Catholic’s closure in 2020.

Riley Hatzfeld led the scoring with 20 points, 13 of which came in the 2nd half. Sarah Ventura scored 5 points.

Our Lady of the Cross (10-7) will now move into the off-season, and they have plans to continue moving ahead.
