Track & Field: Young Talent Shines at Lancaster Lebanon League Middle School Coaches Meet

The future of Lancaster Lebanon League track & field was on display Thursday evening at Hempfield High School, where middle school athletes from across the league competed in the 2026 Lancaster Lebanon League Middle School Coaches Meet.

With the top 8 finishers in each event earning medals, the meet offered a league-wide look at the athletes who will soon move on to the varsity level. Hempfield won the girls team title, while Manheim Township claimed the boys championship. Cedar Crest finished top 5 in both team standings, while Annville-Cleona also earned a top 5 finish on the boys side.

For Lebanon County, the highlight of the evening came from Annville-Cleona, which won gold in the boys 4×400 Relay. Cedar Crest also turned in a strong overall team effort, finishing 4th in the boys standings and 5th in the girls standings.

Girls Recap

Cedar Crest led the Lebanon County girls with several medal-winning performances, including a 2nd-place finish from Olivia Labe in the High Jump and a 3rd-place finish from Kai Templon in the 100m. In the Long Jump, the Falcons had two athletes near the top, with Ellie Finn placing 3rd and Adriana Moyer finishing 4th.

Lebanon’s Jordyn Singh was one of the county’s top multi-event medalists, placing 5th in the Long Jump and 7th in the High Jump. Northern Lebanon’s Kayleigh DiPasquale earned bronze in the 100m Hurdles, while teammate Andi Battistelli placed 6th in the 800m. Cedar Crest’s Madiysn Willis also medaled in the 800m, finishing 8th.

Across the girls meet, several athletes stood out with multiple medals. Elizabethtown’s Kate Ferris won both the 800m and 1600m, while Hempfield’s Naomi Gates swept the Shot Put and Discus. Conestoga Valley’s Evaa Perez won the Long Jump and also medaled in the 100m and 200m, while Elizabethtown’s Sophia Short won the 400m and placed 3rd in the 800m.

Boys Recap

Annville-Cleona produced Lebanon County’s lone gold-medal performance of the meet, as the Dutchmen won the boys 4×400 Relay in 3:42.47. The relay victory helped cap a strong evening for Annville-Cleona, which finished 5th in the boys team standings.

The Dutchmen were also led by several strong individual medalists. Mason Boltz medaled in three events, placing 5th in the 400m, tied for 5th in the High Jump, and 6th in the Long Jump. Donald Kirst medaled in both sprints, finishing 7th in the 100m and 4th in the 200m, while Abraham Weber placed 3rd in the 800m.

Cedar Crest also had a strong boys showing, led by Brady Smith, who earned silver medals in both the Shot Put and Discus. Trenton Jones added a 2nd-place finish in the Long Jump, while Elijah Harbaugh placed 4th in the same event. Jude Mancino placed 4th in the 800m, and Benjamin Conville took 6th in the 1600m.

Across the full boys meet, Warwick’s Thomas Eh Lay won the 200m and Long Jump while also placing 2nd in the 100m. Manheim Township’s Andrew Ramos swept the Shot Put and Discus, while Ismael Colon won the 100m and placed 2nd in the 200m. Octorara’s Jack McGinnis won the 1600m and placed 7th in the 800m.
