Lebanon Battles Back to Defeat McCaskey in Four Sets
Lebanon dropped the opening set on Thursday evening against J.P. McCaskey, but the Cedars responded on Senior Night by taking control over the final three sets to earn a 3-1 victory at home.
After falling 25-20 in the first set, Lebanon bounced back with a 25-21 win in the second to even the match. The Cedars then kept the pressure on, winning the third set 25-21 before closing things out with a 25-19 victory in the fourth.
Lebanon was steady across the board, getting strong production at the net while also spreading the offense through its setter. The Cedars also came up with key defensive plays to hold off McCaskey’s push.
Jaison Morales led Lebanon with 17 kills. Abner Sanchez finished with ten blocks, Yaheniel Hernandez-Falconhanded out 35 assists, and Yahel Delgado added 12 digs and two aces.
Lebanon (5-8) will travel to Cocalico on Tuesday.
