Girls Lacrosse: Falcons Respond in a Big Way with 14-1 Win Over Conrad Weiser

After reeling off six straight wins, the Falcons suffered a setback on Tuesday when they lost to Hempfield. However, they hit the road on Thursday, hoping to turn the page in their game against Conrad Weiser. Cedar Crest did just that, responding with a dominant 14-1 non-league victory to improve to 9-3 on the season.

Samantha Brown and Addi Davis helped lead the Falcons offensively. Brown finished with 3 goals and 1 assist, while Davis posted 2 goals and 3 assists. Avery Lechleitner added 2 goals, and Cedar Crest once again showed off its balance in the attack.

The Falcons also got goals from Atalia Alnoor, Olivia Ryland, Rileigh Lightner, Addie Fulkerson, Bella Paquette, Star Simaska, and Alex Jones. Paquette added 4 assists, Alnoor had 1 assist, and Viola Bierman contributed an assist as Cedar Crest piled up 14 goals on 27 shots.

On the defensive end, Cedar Crest stayed in control throughout the night. Vi Bierman recorded her 300th career save while also pitching a shutout during the half she played, finishing with 3 saves. Phoebe Smith added 1 save as the Falcons limited Conrad Weiser to just 1 goal.

Cedar Crest (9-3) will face Palmyra on Saturday in a highly anticipated matchup that will be broadcast as part of our LebCo Sports Live series.
