Northern Lebanon 63, Kutztown 61 [2 OT]
After winning two straight before dropping a road game on the back end of a back-to-back, the Vikings were back in action for the third time in four days, traveling to Kutztown looking to return to the win column.
The opening quarter was tightly contested, with Kutztown holding a slim 12-11 edge. Northern Lebanon responded in a big way in the 2nd quarter, outscoring the Cougars 20-12 to take a 31-24 lead into halftime. The Vikings were lethal from the perimeter in the first half, knocking down seven three-pointers, with Carter Moyer leading the way with 8 points.
Kutztown worked steadily over the next two quarters to erase the deficit, forcing the game into overtime. The first extra period solved nothing, as both teams scored 7 points, sending the contest to a second overtime.
In the second OT, Northern Lebanon found another gear. Andrew Via took control, scoring 11 of the Vikings’ 13 points in the extra sessions as Northern Lebanon outlasted Kutztown to secure the two-point victory.
Via finished with a game-high 24 points, with 20 of those coming in the second half and overtime. Moyer added 18 points, including three three-pointers, while Ryan Clemmer contributed 9 points with three triples of his own.
Northern Lebanon (4-5) will return to action on Friday when they open play in the Holiday Tournament they are set to host.

Palmyra 55, Mifflin County 48
On Monday evening, the Cougars hosted Mifflin County, welcoming the Huskies east for a non-league matchup. Palmyra got off to a slow start, trailing 10-6 at the end of the 1st quarter. The Cougars found more rhythm offensively in the 2nd quarter, but were only able to trim the deficit to three points by halftime.
Coming out of the break, Palmyra quickly erased that deficit behind a big 3rd quarter from Micah Warner, who scored 9 points in the frame to give the Cougars the lead heading into the final quarter.
The pace picked up in the 4th as Mifflin County pushed to regain control, but Palmyra answered with balanced scoring. Warner, Braydon Bown, and Tommy Steelman each scored 5 points down the stretch as the Cougars closed out the victory.
Warner, aka “Big Mike”, finished with a career-high 20 points to lead Palmyra, while Bown, who knocked down two three-pointers, added 19 points.
Palmyra (3-5) will have a few days to regroup before heading to Exeter for a tough road test on Friday.
