In addition to the girls teams listed above, Northern Lebanon’s boys were also in action over the weekend, competing at the Beast of the East, one of the premier in-season tournaments that draws top-tier competition from across the eastern half of the United States.
The Vikings were led by Sam Wolford, who turned in an impressive performance against a loaded field to earn a sixth-place finish.

Annville-Cleona turned in a strong performance Saturday at the Big Spring Bulldog Invitational, finishing 15th overall with 62 team points in a competitive field.
The Dutchmen were led by junior Julie Goss, who earned a bronze medal at 148 pounds after going 4-1 on the day. Goss advanced to the championship semifinals before rebounding in the consolation bracket, closing her tournament with back-to-back pins to secure a spot on the podium.
Lillian Manwiller also delivered a standout performance at 124 pounds, finishing fourth overall. The sophomore went 4-2 on the day, with all four of her victories coming by pin, making a strong run through the consolation bracket to reach the podium.
Earlier in the tournament, Lois Carey and Madeyln Putt provided momentum with opening-round pins at 112 and 118 pounds, respectively, while Carey added another fall during her consolation run. Jayloni Andujar contributed additional team points with a key pin in the consolation round.
Cedar Crest turned in a solid team effort Saturday at the Big Spring Bulldog Invitational, finishing 7th overall with 118.5 points in a competitive field.
The Falcons were led by Lily Harchuska, who earned a runner-up finish at 130 pounds. The sophomore’s day included two pins, highlighted by a 51-second fall in the semifinal round, before she dropped a decision in the championship bout.
At heavyweight, Sophia Ventura delivered an impressive run to a second-place finish. The freshman went 3-1 on the day, pinning all three opponents she defeated before coming up just short in a hard-fought 4-3 decision in the finals.
Cedar Crest also placed two wrestlers on the podium at 142 and 155 pounds. Madelyn Shanfelder, a sophomore, went 4-1 on the day, pinning three opponents before closing her tournament with a dominant 18-1 technical fall in the bronze medal match to finish third. Lilliana Bohn, also a sophomore, finished fourth at 155 pounds, winning multiple matches by fall and adding a tiebreaker decision during her run.
Additional points came from Aaliyah Gill, who battled through the consolation bracket to earn a sixth-place finish at 148 pounds, contributing valuable points to the team total.
ELCO put together an impressive showing Saturday at the Big Spring Bulldog Invitational, finishing 5th overall with 121 points.
The Raiders were led by Kylee Trostle, who delivered a standout performance on her way to a silver medal at 118 pounds. The junior — and reigning LebCo Athlete of the Week — won all three of her matches by pinfall, including a blistering 9-second fall in the quarterfinals, and added another pin in the championship semifinals to earn a spot in the finals. Trostle capped her day with a runner-up finish after dropping a hard-fought 5–3 decision in the title bout to Shippensburg’s Olivia Kearns, a returning state medalist from last season.
ELCO also received key contributions throughout the lineup. Sophomore Ava Stewart made a deep run at 124 pounds, advancing to the semifinals and later securing a third-place finish with a pin in the placement match. Junior Gabrielle Zimmerman battled back through the consolation bracket at 106 pounds, stringing together multiple pins to earn third place as well. Rileyanne Witmer, a freshman, added to the Raiders’ point total with a fifth-place finish at 100 pounds.
At heavyweight, Maracelys Morales Sanchez finished sixth place after opening the tournament with two straight victories before being limited by injury, which forced her to forfeit her remaining matches.
Additional points came from Sarah Badolato, Maya Soler Nunez, Chloe Taylor, Nicole Lane, and Lily Eachus, each gaining valuable mat time and contributing to the team score against quality regional competition.
Lebanon competed Saturday at the Baguba Brawl at Elizabethtown High School. The tournament featured 23 teams, with the Cedars finishing 14th overall in the team standings.
Lebanon was led by Isabella Poole Martinez, who put together a dominant run at 100 pounds. The junior pinned all three of her opponents, including a 20-second fall in the semifinals, on her way to capturing first place in her weight class.
At 142 pounds, Leanadiz Hernandez, a senior, made a deep run to finish sixth overall. Hernandez went 3-2 on the day, recording three pins, including a lightning-fast 18-second fall that propelled her into the medal round.
The Cedars also received strong contributions from Kiera Klopp at 124 pounds, who rebounded after an early setback to earn multiple pins in the consolation bracket. At 136 pounds, Mya Silva picked up a pin in consolation action.
Additional points came from Yarielys Molina at 170 pounds and Ninoska Bonilla at 190 pounds, each earning pins during consolation rounds.
Northern Lebanon competed Saturday at the Jingle Bell Battle Duals at York Suburban High School, finishing the day with a 3–3 record across six bouts.
The Vikings opened the event with a strong showing against Donegal, earning a 45–12 victory in Round 2. Northern Lebanon later picked up another decisive win over Kennard-Dale in Round 8 by a 48–30 margin, before closing the day with a hard-fought 34–33 win over Northeastern in Round 9.
Northern Lebanon faced stiff competition in its three losses, falling to Pine Grove (46–24), Manheim Township (36–30), and Red Lion (48–30), with each dual providing valuable experience against quality opponents.
With three wins and several tightly contested matches, Northern Lebanon’s performance at the Jingle Bell Battle Duals reflected competitiveness throughout the lineup as the Vikings continue to build momentum heading deeper into the season.
Palmyra competed Saturday at the Hanover Area Holiday Classic, an event that featured 32 teams, with the Cougars finishing 20th overall.
The Cougars were led by Genevieve Smiley, who earned a sixth-place finish at 112 pounds. The freshman won her first two matches by pin before a loss in the championship bracket and was later forced to forfeit her final two matches, cutting her tournament run short.
Cadence Manney also put together an impressive showing at 130 pounds. The freshman rebounded from an opening loss by pinning four straight opponents in the consolation bracket before her day ended. Manney’s run included two lightning-quick falls, coming in just 22 seconds and 24 seconds.
Additional points came from Riley Zettlemoyer, who picked up a first-round pin at 124 pounds, Abigail Vates, who opened her tournament with a pin at 136 pounds, and Sachelyz Ortiz Davila, who recorded multiple pins during her consolation run at 148 pounds.
