District 3 Power Rankings Update – May 12, 2025

This is a brief look at where each of the LebCo teams rank in the District 3 Power Rankings. There are times when  there is a lag in the Power Rankings due to constant contests throughout the Spring.

District 3 brackets are expected this week for many of our LebCo teams. Among them will be four of the five boys volleyball teams, who each finished the season strong, including Northern Lebanon going on a five-game win streak to close out their slate. 

Stay tuned for the information on when and where each LebCo qualifier will play. Until then, check out the Power Rankings to see which LebCo teams are likely to have postseason commitments.

Below, we also take a look at how the power ratings compare for every LebCo Baseball & Softball team.

Baseball – LebCo Power Rankings

Using the rating that is calculated from the District 3 Power Rankings, here is a list in order of how our LebCo Baseball teams stack up when considering their win/loss totals and strength of schedule.

Palmyra (20-0) completed their undefeated regular season and now await Districts. Northern Lebanon (18-3) continued to look strong as well, even in a close 2-0 loss to Ephrata in the Lancaster Lebanon League Playoffs. Both the Cougars and Vikings are locked into the District Playoffs and will be strong contenders to be the top dogs in their respective classes.

Annville-Cleona is currently sitting on the bubble, but has the ability to help themselves with their final regular season games slated for Monday and Tuesday. 

Softball – LebCo Power Rankings

Using the rating that is calculated from the District 3 Power Rankings, here is a list in order of how our LebCo Softball teams stack up when considering their win/loss totals and strength of schedule.

Northern Lebanon (19-3) & ELCO (15-5) continue to lead the LebCo contingent, as they await Districts. Annville-Cleona (12-7) controls their own destiny as they are currently sitting in 3A’s 8th & final spot with two games remaining.

This past week, there were slight movements in the Power Rankings, as Cedar Crest & Lebanon each won a game. The Falcons upset Manheim Township, while the Cedars took down Hanover. With both programs in rebuilding phases, these wins will help them to excitedly build the foundation going into the offseason.
