Several other local athletes contributed to victories across NCAA Division I, Division III, and collegiate sprint football.

Here’s the latest LebCo Football Alumni Check-In, featuring games played through November 7.

Brummel Blocks Two Punts as Lebanon Valley Wins Third Straight

Cedar Crest graduate Roman Brummel delivered one of the week’s most impressive special-teams performances, blocking two punts during Lebanon Valley College’s 34-6 victory over FDU-Florham on Saturday.

Both blocks came during the opening quarter and helped set up the Dutchmen’s first six points.

The first came after Lebanon Valley forced FDU into a fourth-and-25 situation. Brummel broke through to block the punt, with teammate Justin Negron recovering at the Devils’ 9-yard line. The Dutchmen eventually converted a 21-yard field goal to take a 3-0 lead.

Less than two minutes later, Brummel struck again, blocking another punt that gave Lebanon Valley possession at the FDU 16. The Dutchmen added a second field goal and never looked back.

Brummel was also credited with two punt returns totaling 12 yards.

The junior’s contributions helped Lebanon Valley establish early momentum in a game it controlled throughout the afternoon. The Dutchmen limited FDU-Florham to just 125 total yards, including 35 rushing yards, while improving to 3-6 overall.

After beginning the season with six consecutive losses, Lebanon Valley has now won three straight games.

Heisey Continues Hot Streak, Music Adds Big Runs

Brummel wasn’t the only Lebanon County graduate contributing to Lebanon Valley’s third consecutive victory.

Fellow Cedar Crest graduate Ethan Heisey followed last week’s historic 190-yard receiving performance with another productive afternoon, catching seven passes for 104 yards.

The senior once again led the Dutchmen in receiving, including receptions of 23 and 25 yards that helped set up scoring drives.

Heisey has now surpassed 100 receiving yards in consecutive games, totaling 294 yards across those two contests.

Annville-Cleona graduate Phoenix Music also provided a late offensive spark, rushing for 41 yards on just two carries. His biggest play was a 32-yard run during Lebanon Valley’s final possession.

Defensively, Cedar Crest graduate Owen Chernich and Northern Lebanon graduate Brendan Ryan each recorded a solo tackle.

Annville-Cleona graduate Bryce Keller also contributed on special teams as the team’s long snapper, while ELCO graduate Ellis Gensamer handled holding duties on field goals.

Lebanon Valley will close its regular season November 14 when it hosts Albright College.

Williams Rushes for 101 Yards and Scores for Fourth Straight Week

ELCO graduate Jake Williams continued his impressive sophomore campaign Saturday, helping Dickinson College defeat Ursinus 31-7 in a key Centennial Conference matchup.

The score marked Williams’ fourth consecutive game with a touchdown.

His recent scoring streak includes rushing touchdowns against Gettysburg and Carnegie Mellon, along with a 39-yard touchdown reception against McDaniel.

Dickinson improved to 7-2 overall and 5-1 in Centennial Conference competition, holding Ursinus scoreless over the final three quarters.

Stickler Helps Albright Pull Off Dramatic Senior Day Victory

ELCO graduate Alden Stickler enjoyed a memorable Senior Day at Albright College, contributing to a thrilling 22-21 victory over King’s College.

The senior wide receiver caught two passes for 33 yards, including a crucial third-down reception along the sideline during Albright’s final scoring drive.

Trailing 21-14 with just over two minutes remaining, the Lions marched 63 yards before quarterback Chase Roberts scored on a seven-yard run with eight seconds left.

Rather than settle for the tying extra point, Albright elected to attempt a two-point conversion. Roberts found senior Erik Thelander in the end zone, giving the Lions a one-point advantage and ultimately the victory.

The win snapped Albright’s seven-game losing streak against King’s and improved the Lions to 4-5 overall.

Stickler, who was among the seniors honored before the game, has been a regular contributor to Albright’s receiving corps throughout his collegiate career.

His final home game provided a memorable conclusion, with a clutch reception helping set up one of the Lions’ most exciting victories of the season.
