Baseball: LebCo Youth Legion Update – July 4th

LebCo Youth Legion’s 68th regular season wrapped up with Myerstown claiming the top spot ahead of the playoffs. With the league’s four teams beginning postseason action with best of three series on Wednesday night, #1 Myerstown defeated #4 Conrad Weiser, while #2 Jonestown got by #3 Palmyra. They will now pause play until Monday night when the teams will resume their battles. We will work to keep you posted on all of the results.

Has a LebCo team ever won the State Championship? Since 1969, Jonestown has won twice and Myerstown has brought home the trophy once. Prior to 1969, when the program went officially by Connie Mack Baseball, Newmanstown staked their claim to the State title in 1950.
