Boys Volleyball Results Tracker: April 1-4

Below is a recap of some of the Boys Volleyball action from around LebCo this week.  This will serve as rolling summary which will be updated as we get details.

Thursday, April 4

Cedar Crest 3, McCaskey 0

On the road at McCaskey, the Falcons won three straight sets to take down the Red Tornado. The finals scores were 25-16, 25-8, 25-12.

Cedar Crest (4-1) will host Manheim Township on Tuesday evening.

 

Garden Spot 3, Lebanon 1

The Cedars hosted Garden Spot on Thursday night. After dropping the first two sets, Lebanon pushed it into extra time to take the 3rd in a 28-26 win. The Spartans were able to recover to end the match in four. Stat leaders for Lebanon were as follows: Brian Marshall – 6 kills; Elias Feliciano – 8 blocks; Savian Crespo – 2 aces; Tyson Griffiths – 11 digs, 17 assists.

The scores of the four sets were 25-14, 25-15, 26-28, 25-17.

Lebanon (0-4) will play Reading on Satuday.

 

 



 

 

Wednesday, April 3

Palmyra 3, Mechanicsburg 0

The Cougars won in straight sets over visiting Mechanicsburg to earn their second straight victory. Colby Arveson led the attack with 20 kills, with Pavan Patel and Andrew Martin each had 8 kills. Cade Palmer had 10 digs and 3 aces. Palmer and Arveson stood tall in receiving serves, making it even more difficult for Mechanicsburg to score points. Palmyra is now 2-1. They are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to play Hershey.

 

 



 

Tuesday, April 2

Penn Manor 3, Cedar Crest 0

Cedar Crest hosted Penn Manor on Tuesday night. While each set was close, the Comets were able to hand the Falcons their first loss of the season by winning each of the first three. For Cedar Crest Aidan Vukovich led with 12 kills, Kody Kerkeslager tallied 30 assists, Tate Tadajweski had 2 blocks, and Jack Wolgemuth registered 15 digs. The final scores of each set were 25-23, 25-20, 25-22 in favor of Penn Manor. Cedar Crest is now 3-1.

Northern Lebanon 3, New Convenant 0

Northern Lebanon moved to 5-1 on the season by defeating New Covenant. The Flames are now 0-2, previously losing to York Catholic.

Cocalico 3, Lebanon 0

The Eagles defended their home court against the Cedars. Lebanon is now 0-3.

 

 



 

Monday, April 1

Northern Lebanon 3, Lebanon 1

Northern Lebanon won the first two sets before Lebanon was able to win the 3rd set by a 25-20 margin. The Vikings wrapped up the match in the 4th set, winning 25-19. For the Vikings Sam Kolocek had 9 kills and 4 aces. Riley Klinger tallied 6 blocks and 12 digs. Aiden Platt racked up 21 assists. The Cedars were led by Elias Feliciano with 10 kills, Brian Marshall with 7 blocks, Yadiel Gonzalez with 3 aces, Gabe Sandoval with 6 digs, and Tyson Griffiths with 7 assists. The scores of the sets were 25-23, 25-13, 20-25, 25-19.

 

Palmyra 3, Cedar Cliff 0
