Lancaster Lebanon League – Section 3 (AAAA)

Head Coach: Brad Conners, 14th season

Top Returners: Kody Boyer (Sr.); Logan Kless (Sr.); Dallas George (Sr.); Camden Marquette (Sr.); Micah Gray (Jr.)

Key Losses: Aidon Fritsch, Dom Thornton, Cody Wentzel, Eddie Vasquez

Raider Boys Basketball Season Outlook

Last season, the Raiders made it to the postseason with an 11-11 regular season.  After picking up a District 3 Playoff berth they saw their campaign end with an opening round loss to Kennard-Dale. They hope they will build on that success this year, especially since they are returning many key players from last season’s lineup. Senior Dallas George leads the contingent of the ELCO scorers back this season. Among the offensive weapons that the Raiders possess, George will be joined on the court by fellow seniors Camden Marquette, Kody Boyer, and Logan Kless. Late last season, Micah Gray, now a junior, came on strong and provided an offensive spark, which he hopes to do again this year to help the Raiders improve their win total. 

Last season, they relied heavily on outside shooting for their points but had noticeable areas where they could improve. Coach Conners mainly focused on improving their defense and rebounding skills ahead of the ’23-’24 season. Each of these players listed has experienced recent success, as they are teammates on the ELCO Soccer team that just won back-to-back Section 3. They are now hoping to transfer that experience and leadership to the hardwood and will be joined by several members of the Football team who found a large amount of their own share of success this season. In short, this group of athletes has a winning mentality. If they can improve in the previously mentioned areas while displaying an overall level of maturation, look for ELCO to extend their season a bit further into the postseason.

One additional item to note is that ELCO will have the opportunity to play their December 18th game against Wyomissing at the Wells Fargo Center prior to the Sixers-Bulls playing that evening.
