Cedars Eclipsed by Comets

The Lady Cedars were back in action Friday night against the Penn Manor Comets. Penn Manor 62, Lebanon 41.

From the moment the ball was tipped, everyone could see this was going to be a physical game. The first quarter almost ended with a one-point lead from the comets, but with few seconds remaining, Lebanon junior Aaliyah Ferrer, shoots and makes a three, which put the Cedars at a 11-9 lead.

Throughout the course of the game, there were many fouls given from both teams and different teammates. At halftime, Penn Manor managed to pull an underdog move, putting them at 30 while Lebanon at 21.

The Comets were dropping shots left and right, but the Cedars still held their heads up high and fought. Going into the final quarter, Penn Manor was up 48-31.

Both teams were mercilessly pushing up the court trying to beat the other in points. In the end, the Comets were able to persevere and get the win.

You will see the Lady Cedars back on their home court Monday, the 24th of January.
