Annville-Cleona Boys Basketball Finds New Bench Boss; Dutchmen Looking For A Fresh Start for the 2026-27 Season

Following the end of the 2026 basketball season, former A-C boys basketball head coach Jason Coletti resigned from his duties as the Dutchmen’s bench boss.

Coletti spent eight seasons at A-C and compiled a record of 56-91. During that time, he coached three 1,000-point scorers and led the Dutchmen to the District playoffs in 2024. Coletti finished his final season at A-C with a record of 6-16.

On July 29, the Dutchmen found their guy. Pending school board approval, Brad Karli will take over as head coach of the Dutchmen this season.

The former Cedar Crest/Elizabethtown graduate spent the last nine seasons as an assistant at Lebanon Valley College. Before his time at LVC, he also served as an assistant at Bloomsburg and Elizabethtown.

Karli will take over a Dutchmen team with many questions heading into the 2026-27 season, as well as up-and-coming players who are stepping into larger roles as upperclassmen.

“The news of this big change has brought a lot of new energy and excitement to the team,” said Dutchmen center James Garney. “I didn’t have a huge problem with our previous coaching, but sometimes a change of direction can be really beneficial. We now have an experienced group of guys who are eager to win and are looking forward to what Coach Karli brings to the table.”

In general, A-C boys basketball has been looking to get over the hump for years and struggled to find sustained success under Coletti’s leadership. A new face in Brad Karli will hopefully be the change the Dutchmen need and help return dear old A-C-H-S to the basketball blue blood it used to be for many years.

Karli and the Dutchmen will open their 2026-27 campaign on the road at Octorara on December 8.
