Sprints
Aidan Bertrand (Northern Lebanon)
Senior. In dual meets, he provided a solid first place option for the Vikings in the longer sprints, running a season best 400m time of 54.56.
Dylan Clements (Annville-Cleona)
Senior. Ran a season best 11.82 and served as a key member of the Dutchman 4x100m team that finished 13th at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championship Meet.
Jalik Hill (Lebanon)
Junior. Finished 7th in the 400m at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championships. His season best time of 51.3 ranked 3rd among LebCo Boys this season, while his 200m time of 22.6 ranked him 5th.
Gabe Lewis (Cedar Crest)
Senior. Finished 6th in the State in the 100m and anchored the 4x100m team that finished 3rd at the PIAA State Championships. That relay team also set the Lancaster Lebanon League Record. At the District 3 Championships, he was a member of the bronze medal winning 4x400m. His season best time in the 100m of 10.67 led all LebCo Boys, as did his 200m time of 22.25.
Jose Morales (Palmyra)
Senior. This year he ran the 2nd fastest 100m time among LebCo Boys with a time of 11.20. He also ran a season-best 200m time of 22.77 on his way to finishing 8th in the Mid Penn before finishing 21st at the District 3 Championship Meet.
Jake Williams (ELCO)
Junior. Finished the season running an 11.26 in the 100m, placing him 11th at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championship Meet.
Distance
Cornelius Cummings (Palmyra)
Freshman. At the Mid Penn Championship, finished 7th in the 3200m and 9th in the 1600m. Both performances were his season best times. His 1600m time of 4:30.22 was the fastest among all LebCo Boys this season, while his 3200m time of 9:52.32 ranked 2nd. He also ran a 2:03.7 in the 800m to rank him 4th in LebCo.
Landon Hostetter (Annville-Cleona)
Sophomore. At the PIAA State Championships, finished 25th in the 1600m and 23rd in the 3200m.His District 3 silver medal winning time of 9:48.79 ranked as the top time by a LebCo Boy this season. He was also the 3200m Lebanon County Champion.
Camden Marquette (ELCO)
Junior. Lebanon County Champion in the 800m after running a season best time of 2:00.86. Finished 11th at the Lancaster Lebanong League Championships.
Tyler Shunk (Northern Lebanon)
Junior. Ran a season best time of 10:24.04 and set the 3200m record at the Sterling Hoffman Invitational hosted by Tulpehocken.
Owen Sparks (Cedar Crest)
Senior. Was a key reason that Cedar Crest defeated McCaskey for the Secion 1 title, running the 800m in 2:02.9 to take 1st. This was the 3rd fastest time among all LebCo Boys this sesaon. His season best time in 1600m of 4:36.40 made him the Lebanon County Champion.
Ramon Urena Batista (Lebanon)
Junior. Finished 2nd at the Lebanon County Championships in the 800m and 1600m, before going on to finish 8th in the 800m at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championship Meet. His 1:58.9 was the fastest 800m time run by a LebCo Boy this season. His 1600m (4:30.40) ranked 2nd and his 3200m (10:01.8) ranked 3rd.
LebCo Boys Track & Field Top Performers: 2023 Season
Hurdles
Tyler Burgess (Palmyra)
Sophomore. At the PIAA State Championships, medaled in the 110m High Hurdles (7th) and the 300m IM Hurdles (6th). His season best times in the events were 14.63 and 38.95. He also won both events at the Mid Penn Conference Championships.
Joseph Escobales (Northern Lebanon)
Junior. Served as the main point scoring option for the Vikings in this skill event. At the Lancaster Lebanon League Championships, his season best times of 17.33 and 44.00 placed him 21st in the 110m Highs and 18th in the 300 IMs.
Ethan Heisey (Cedar Crest)
Senior. After finishing 10th in the 300m IM Hurdles at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championships, he went onto finish 12th at the District 3 Championships. His season best time of 40.4 was 3rd best among LebCo Boys. He also served as a leg in the Cedar Crest 4x400m that finished 3rd at Districts.
Luke Macchione (ELCO)
Junior. Ran a season best time of 40.63 to finish 5th at At the Lancaster Lebanon League Championships before finishing 16th at the District 3 Championships.
Timothy Montijo (Annville-Cleona)
Junior. The main hurdler scoring critical points for the Dutchmen, his season best time was a 17.6 in the 110m High Hurdles. At the Lancaster Lebanon League Meet, he placed 24th before finished 18th in the 300m IM Hurdles.
Jumps
Mason Bucks (Palmyra)
Junior. Silver medalist in the Pole Vault at the PIAA State Championship Meet, tying the top mark in the State. His season best height was 16’1″.
Reed Fretz (Cedar Crest)
Senior. Finished 3rd in the Long Jump at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championship after winning the event at the Lebanon County Championship Meet. His season best jump was 21’1″, second among all LebCo Boys.
Noah Gunderson (Annville-Cleona)
Senior. Silver medalist in the High Jump at the PIAA State Championship Meet. Finished the season with a top clearing height of 6’7″.
Alden Stickler (ELCO)
Senior. Lebanon County Champion in the Triple Jump. At the District 3 Championships, he finished 16th in both the Long Jump and the Triple Jump. His season bests were 21’3.5″ and 42’8.5″.
Nate Trace (Lebanon)
Sophomore. Lebanon’s main point scorer in the jumps, he finished with a season best Triple Jump of 41’9″.
Throws
Eli Becker (Palmyra)
Senior. At the Mid Penn Championship Meet, he finished 6th in the Javeling. Throughout the season, he served as a top-end option for the Cougars in all three throwing events. His top Javelin throw of 157’5″ ranked him 2nd among all LebCo Boys, while his longest Discus throw of 133’2.5″ was also 2nd.
Colin Daub (ELCO)
Senior. Lancaster Lebanon League Champion in the Discus, as well as the winner of the prestigious Henderson Invitational. His top mark of 155’9″ in the Discus was tops among all LebCo Boys as was his longest Shot Put mark of the season which measured 48’6″.
Tanner Feagley (Northern Lebanon)
Junior. Ranked 4th among all LebCo Boys in the Javelin with a top throw of 146’10”.
Dylan Groff (Cedar Crest)
Sophomore. Finished 4th in the Javelin at the Lancaster Lebanon League after winning the Lebanon County Championship. His top throw of 162’was the top among all LebCo Boys.
Josh Lindsey (Annville-Cleona)
Senior. The top Shot Put scorer for the Dutchmen, his top throw was a 43’11.5″ on his way to an 18th place finish at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championships.
Emanuel Mason (Lebanon)
Senior. Ranked 4th among all LebCo Boys in the Shot Put on his way to a 14th place finish at the Lancaster Lebanon League Meet. His top throw measured 45’9″.
