Heisey, Williams & Infante Lead Halloween Weekend Highlights
An historic receiving performance, three Lebanon County alumni finding the end zone, and a thrilling overtime victory highlighted another week of college football action.
Halloween weekend provided plenty of excitement for Lebanon County’s collegiate football alumni, with several former local athletes delivering memorable performances as the calendar turned to November.
From a record-book receiving performance at Lebanon Valley College to a dramatic overtime comeback at Dickinson, graduates continued making their presence felt across multiple levels of college football.
Here’s the latest LebCo Football Alumni Check-In, featuring performances from October 30 and 31.

Heisey Delivers Historic 190-Yard Performance in Lebanon Valley Victory
Cedar Crest graduate Ethan Heisey delivered the biggest performance of his collegiate career on Halloween afternoon, catching seven passes for 190 yards and two touchdowns as Lebanon Valley College defeated Misericordia 41-21.
The senior’s receiving total was the fifth-highest single-game mark in program history and the most by a Dutchmen receiver since 2011.
Heisey wasted little time making an impact, hauling in a 53-yard touchdown from quarterback Owen Strouse during Lebanon Valley’s second possession. He added a 27-yard scoring reception late in the third quarter, extending the Dutchmen’s advantage to 41-14.
The performance continued a remarkable stretch for the 6-foot-4 receiver, who has now led Lebanon Valley in receiving yards in four consecutive games. During that span, Heisey has collected 24 receptions for 423 yards, including three touchdowns over the past two contests.
He also became the first Dutchmen receiver to surpass 500 yards in a season since 2014.
Strouse enjoyed a record-setting afternoon of his own, throwing five touchdown passes, while Lebanon Valley improved to 2-6 with its second consecutive victory.
After beginning the season with six straight losses, the Dutchmen have now scored at least 40 points in back-to-back wins.

Williams Scores Again in Dickinson’s Overtime Thriller
For the third consecutive week, ELCO graduate Jake Williams found the end zone, helping Dickinson College complete a remarkable comeback in a 54-51 overtime victory over Carnegie Mellon.
The sophomore running back finished with nine carries for 59 yards and a touchdown, averaging 6.6 yards per attempt.
Williams provided one of Dickinson’s biggest plays late in the third quarter, breaking free for a 38-yard run that moved the Red Devils deep into Carnegie Mellon territory. He capped the possession with a one-yard touchdown early in the fourth, cutting the deficit to 34-32.
Despite that score, Dickinson eventually found itself trailing 48-32 with less than eight minutes remaining.
The Red Devils responded with two late touchdowns and a 43-yard field goal as regulation expired, forcing overtime. After Carnegie Mellon opened the extra period with a field goal, Dickinson quarterback Ty Bussard connected with Frederik Fjeldseth for the game-winning 19-yard touchdown.
The victory improved Dickinson to 6-2 overall and 4-1 in Centennial Conference competition.
Williams has now scored in three straight games, following a rushing touchdown against Gettysburg and a 39-yard touchdown reception against McDaniel. The former Raider continues to establish himself as an important offensive contributor after transferring from Division II Bloomsburg.

The junior wide receiver finished with three receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown, scoring on a 16-yard pass from Ronnie Borden early in the fourth quarter.
Infante has been gaining momentum in Misericordia’s passing attack. After collecting four receptions for 50 yards against Delaware Valley the previous week, he has now recorded seven catches for 110 yards over his last two games.

On the opposing sideline, Cedar Crest graduate Landyn Kline recorded one solo tackle for Misericordia. The freshman linebacker now has eight tackles this season, including four solo stops.
Lebanon Valley will look to extend its winning streak November 7 when it travels to FDU-Florham.
Schelhorn Records Two Tackles Against Navy
Palmyra graduate Jake Schelhorn continued his freshman season with Mansfield University’s sprint football program Friday night, recording two tackles in a 52-25 loss to Navy.
The outing followed a six-tackle performance against Penn the previous week, when Schelhorn also registered half a tackle for loss in Mansfield’s 6-3 victory.
Against Navy, Mansfield jumped ahead on Caleb Smith’s 40-yard interception return for a touchdown, but the Midshipmen responded with a strong offensive performance and built a 31-13 halftime advantage.
Mansfield fell to 4-2 with the loss.
Schelhorn is one of several local athletes competing for the Mountaineers, along with ELCO graduates Steven Rosado and Austin Yesko.

Waranavage Part of Unusual Muhlenberg Finish
Cedar Crest graduate Jack Waranavage recorded one reception for two yards as Muhlenberg College suffered a heartbreaking 31-28 loss to Johns Hopkins.
The Mules rallied to tie the game late in the fourth quarter, but Johns Hopkins took advantage of a rare fair-catch free-kick opportunity following a Muhlenberg punt.
With two seconds remaining, the Blue Jays converted a 39-yard field goal to secure the victory.
The loss dropped Muhlenberg to 4-4 overall and 2-3 in Centennial Conference play.
Waranavage, a sophomore wide receiver, continues contributing to the Mules’ offense and special teams.
