Lebanon Completes Season Sweep of Lancaster Mennonite

Earlier this season, Lebanon defeated Lancaster Mennonite on the road. On Thursday evening, the Cedars had the chance to make it a season sweep of the Blazers, and they did just that with a straight-set victory on their home court.

Lebanon earned the 3-0 win by set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-18. The Cedars set the tone early by controlling the opening set, then followed it up with an even stronger second set to take full command of the match.

Lebanon kept that momentum rolling into the third set to close out the sweep. The Cedars were steady across the board, getting production offensively and at the net while also keeping the pressure on from the service line.

Eury Filpo led Lebanon with 9 kills and 4 aces. Yaheniel Hernandez-Falcon handed out 28 assists, Abner Sanchezfinished with 5 blocks, and Maurice Williams recorded 10 digs.

Lebanon (4-7) will return to action Tuesday with an away match at Conestoga Valley.
