Palmyra Keeps Momentum Going with 17-4 Win Over Bishop McDevitt

After getting back on track with a dominant 19-3 road win over Gettysburg last Thursday, Palmyra returned home on Tuesday looking to keep that momentum going against Bishop McDevitt. The Lady Cougars did exactly that, turning in another strong performance in a 17-4 victory to improve to 6-2 on the season.

Offensively, Ava Lantz led the way with 5 goals and 1 assist, while Ella Detwiler added 3 goals and 1 assist. Megan Isett also played a big role in the attack with 2 goals and 2 assists as Palmyra once again found plenty of production at the offensive end.

Adding to the balanced scoring effort were Marina Kemmlein-Colon and Bella Kenes, who each scored 2 goals. Eloise Frailey chipped in 1 goal and 4 assists, Myka Lechleitner finished with 1 goal and 2 assists, and Lily Ferretti also found the cage once in the win.

On the defensive end, Savannah Epler came up with 7 saves in goal as Palmyra kept Bishop McDevitt in check throughout the night.

Palmyra (6-2) will return to action on Thursday when it hosts Hershey.
