Cedar Crest Earns First Win of Season with 4-1 Road Victory at Conestoga Valley

After opening the season with two tough matches, Cedar Crest broke through on Monday with its first win of the year, earning a 4-1 road victory over Conestoga Valley. The Falcons controlled singles play and added a doubles point to improve to 1-2 on the season.

Cedar Crest set the tone by sweeping all three singles matches. At #1 singles, Nathan Meng turned in a dominant performance with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Boro Krstic. Ted Doane followed with one of the most competitive matches of the day at #2 singles, battling past CJ Nugent 6-4, 2-6, 10-5. At #3 singles, Tyler Do added another point for the Falcons with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over D’Michael White.

The Falcons also picked up a win at #2 doubles, where James Myer and Sammy Zeisloft earned a 6-1, 6-3 decision over Singer and Linder.

Conestoga Valley’s lone point came at #1 doubles, where Testa and Betteridge defeated Xen Donten and Elliot Laster by a score of 7-5, 6-1.

With the result, Cedar Crest is now 1-2 on the season.

The Falcons are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday when they host Warwick.
