Annville-Cleona 42, Lancaster County Christian 12
On Monday, the Dutchmen hit the road to face Lancaster County Christian, and the trip did little to slow Annville-Cleona. The Dutchmen jumped out to a 10-0 lead by the end of the 1st quarter and extended that advantage to 22-4 by halftime behind a strong defensive effort.
Annville continued to limit LanCo Christian’s scoring opportunities in the 2nd half, pulling away for their third straight victory.
Addy Sanchez led the Dutchmen with 14 points, while newly named All-State Field Hockey player Savannah Kleinfelter added 11 points to the winning effort. Georgia Sellers also reached double figures with 10 points.
Annville-Cleona (3-2) will return home on Tuesday evening when they host ELCO.
