
Presented in coordination with Froggy Valley 100.1/WiLBuR 99.7 & Lebanon Federal Credit Union, help us decide which male and female athlete should be honored for their outstanding efforts during last week’s local high school sports action. While you may have a favorite school or athlete already, we still encourage you to read through the lists below and then click on the link to vote.
The winners will be announced at the end of the week. Linked below are the articles about our most recent winners of the award.
Voting will remain open until Wednesday at 10 pm.
One vote per email address, per day will be allowed.
While athletes can be nominated multiple weeks, the winners will be removed and updates will be provided as the season progresses.
While this may be a vote and emotions can run high, this is intended to bring attention to some of the best performances from our local student-athletes.
Nominations, which are made working with the schools, are listed below in alphabetical order.
Please read about each nominee, celebrate their accomplishment, and then go vote who you feel is most deserving of this week’s honor.

Female Nominees
Kendall Cooper (Annville-Cleona / Sr.) – Basketball: AC went 2-0 last week, with Cooper leading the scoring in both games. Against Linden Hall, she scored all 18 of her points in the 1st quarter. The next night against Octorara, Cooper scored 16 points.
Kaila Francis (Cedar Crest / Jr.) – Basketball: The junior forward once again proved to be too much for opponents. Against William Penn (York), Francis recorded 15 points, 6 rebounds, & 4 blocks. She followed it up with 12 points, 9 rebounds, & 3 blocks in a victory over Hempfield. Against the Black Knights, she also went 4-4 from the foul line and took a charge.
Liliana Harrison (Lebanon / Sr.) – Basketball: In wins over Reading & McCaskey, Harrison averaged 14 points and 13.5 rebounds.
Miracle Hershey (New Covenant / Sr.) – Basketball: In three games last week, the Flames went 3-0. In those games, Hershey was spectacular, recording a triple-double & a double-double on her way to averaging 16.7 points, 13.0 rebounds, & 5.7 steals.
Hayley Sheroky (Northern Lebanon / Jr.) – Basketball: Last week, the Lady Vikings improved their record to 4-0 with an overtime win over Manheim Central. In the game, Sheroky led with 21 points. She went 8-8 on free throws, including going 4-4 in the extra period.
Reece Woelfling (ELCO / Sr.) – Basketball: The senior provided a positive attitude, leadership, and tenacious defense as the Lady Raiders picked up big wins over Warwick & Donegal this past week. Against Donegal, Woelfling nailed two threes in the 1st quarter to set the tone on her way to finishing the game with 11 points.
Male Nominees
Charlie Albright (Northern Lebanon – Palmyra / Sr.): Bowling – Against Garden Spot, Palmyra’s Albright, who bowls for Northern Lebanon as part of a co-op, led the Vikings to victory. The biggest highlight came when he completed a perfect 300 game as part of a 771 series.
Alexander Hart (New Covenant / Fr.) – Basketball: The freshman averaged 9.3 points and 9.7 rebounds in three games last week. This included hitting the game-tying three-pointer in the final minute against Lititz Christian before sinking the game-winning free throws as time expired.
Josiah Hayes (ELCO / Jr.) – Basketball: The junior had a breakout week as the Raiders battled through three games. After a tough loss to Hamburg, they responded with wins over Donegal & Schuykill Valley. In the win over Donegal, Hayes scored a career-high 21 points. In the overtime win over Schuylkill Valley, Hayes had 11 points.
Jonathon Shay (Annville-Cleona / Sr.) – Basketball: The Dutchmen went 2-0 last week. In a tight win over Northern Lebanon, Shay had 9 points & 7 rebounds. He followed it up with 11 points, 16 rebounds, & 2 steals against Lancaster Country Day.
Robert Santiago (Lebanon / Sr.) – Basketball: In Friday night’s Section 1 win over McCaskey, the senior provided 18 points to pace the Cedars.
Andrew Via (Northern Lebanon / Jr.) – Basketball: On Friday, the Vikings defeated Pequea Valley. In the game, Via scored 11 points.
Nick Gordon (Palmyra / Fr.) – Wrestling: At the Moon Duals, Gordon went 6-0, winning five of those matches by pinning his opponents. His effort helped Palmyra to a 2nd place finish behind nationally-ranked Parkersburg West (WV). Gordan is currently 10-2 with nine pins.
