Moser Submits Resignation
ELCO Wrestling will be looking for a new leader after Benjamin Moser submitted his resignation this past week. The move by Moser is reflected on the agenda for this upcoming Monday’s ELCO School Board Meeting. In three seasons, Moser’s teams achieved an overall record of 49-15, including winning the Section 3 Championship in 2023. Most recently, Kylee Trostle finished her freshman season with a 6th place finish in the first ever PIAA State Girls Wrestling Championship. (published 3/16, 7 am)
Lebanon Set to Name New Football Coach
On Friday, the Board Agenda was released for Lebanon’s next School Board meeting, which will take place on Monday, March 18th. On it was the long-rumored choice of Tyler Pritchett to become the next head coach of the Cedars. Pritchett, an Alabama native, is a former college football player who finished his career playing for Benedict College. He spent last year as an assistant coach at the University of Virginia-Lynchburg. Pritchett will begin his time with Lebanon on April 2nd, when he will join the high school staff as a physical education teacher. We wish Coach Pritchett the best of luck! (published 3/15, 11 pm)

Cedar Crest’s Ayo-Faleye Leads Vermont to Title Game
On Tuesday, Ileri Ayo-Faleye led the University of Vermont in their semifinal win in the America East Championship Tournament. The Cedar Crest alum, now a junior, scored 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 28 minutes for the Catamounts. Vermont (27-6) will now face UMass-Lowell in Saturday’s Championship, in which the winner will earn an automatic bid into the NCCA Men’s Basketball Tournament. (published 3/13, 6 pm)

Howard Shines at Nike Nationals
This past weekend, Cedar Crest’s Kaddel Howard competed at the Nike Indoor National Championships, which were held at the legendary Armory in New York City. The sophomore ran the 400m in a blistering 54.53 to place 4th at the event, second among underclassmen. Howard will now turn her attention to defending her Pennsylvania crown in the outdoor version of the event. (published 3/13, 6 pm)
Kreider Opts for LVC
On Sunday, ELCO fullback/linebacker Elliott Kreider took to social media to announce that he has committed to continuing his football career at Lebanon Valley College. (published 3/13, 6 pm)

After winning his third straight PIAA State Wrestling Championship, Northern Lebanon’s Aaron Seidel is up for the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Athlete of the Week. Get your votes in for Aaron! (published 3/13, 6 pm)
