Bowling: Zombro Takes 6th at League Championship – Full LebCo Results

On Friday, the top male Bowlers from across the region descended upon Dutch Lanes as they competed in the Lancaster Lebanon League Boys Bowling Championships. In total, there were sixty-seven participants who qualified for the event. This included nine athletes representing teams from LebCo.

The format for the event was simple. In the qualifying round, each bowler completed six games. The ten bowlers with the highest combined scores were then placed on a ladder where they would meet head-to-head in a one-game match.

Cedar Crest’s Toby Zombro finished the qualifying round with the 8th-highest score. His combined total of 1254 placed him on the ladder, where he faced Garden Spot’s Gavin Courtney. Zombro tallied a 255 to best Courtney’s 235. In the 2nd round of the ladder, Zombro met Conestoga Valley’s Ryan Muckle. Zombro scored a 205 and was outdueled by Muckle, who rolled a 225. Having advanced as far as he had before losing, Zombro was able to finish in 6th place.
