When Jose Correa found out that Tobias Harris of the Philadelphia 76ers was looking for someone to give him a fresh cut, the Lebanon-based barber reached out to the NBA star via Instagram. For the past few weeks, Correa has been working with Harris to make sure that he is looking his best when he takes the floor. On Friday, Correa once again had his biggest client, in terms of fame and stature, that he’s had since he began working on his craft seventeen years ago. Later in the day, Harris rocked the haircut with an impressive, reverse-Samson performance against the visiting Sacramento Kings.

In the game, the 6’8” forward led the Sixers to victory in the absence of Joel Embiid, scoring 37 points on 14-25 from the field, 6-6 on free throws, and 3-7 on three-pointers. He added 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals with a +19 in 36 minutes. It is safe that after a performance like he had last night, Toby may be calling Correa for the foreseeable future.

While he may have to travel to Philly to cut Harris’s hair, Correa’s main chair is at One More Cut Barbershop located at 1000 Walnut Street in Lebanon City. Harris is not Correa’s only basketball connection, as he is the uncle to current Lebanon Cedar star Kailah Correa.
