Notes: The Cedar Crest Blue squad wrapped up their second consecutive undefeated season, going 13-0 on the year. The team was led in scoring by Jaden Truss, Chase Norris, Ben Kleinfelter, and Chase Boger.  Over the course of the season, this squad dominated in the rebound department, with Griffin Schomp and Griffin Lorenzo providing size that deemed too much for their opponents.  The thing that set this team apart from others was the play of their guards, as they flashed great ball handling that pressured opposing defenses.  Those four guards that gave Crest the edge were Logan Yorty, Wes Bowman, Rory Smyth, and Jewelz Hernandez.  If all goes according to plan, Cedar Crest Blue will win its second straight LL championship on Sunday.  Their next hurdle is a home game tonight against Ephrata.

Playoffs

1st Round – 1/28: Annville defeated Cedar Crest White

Notes: Cedar Crest White’s season came to an end with a loss to Annville this past Saturday in what was a tie-breaker in a playoff scenario.  The regular season matchups with Annville that forced this scenario were tight, ending in overtime with two points wins.  Throughout the season, Crest relied upon the trio of Dante Grey, Jaylon O’fray, and Drew Gebhard for its points.  On the defensive side of the ball, it was Denny Furmanski, Jaxon Ginder, and Oliver Starry who made it difficult for the opposition.
