Freshman scoring, championship experience, defensive contributions, and conference contenders highlight another week of accomplishments for Lebanon County’s college field hockey alumni.
As Lebanon County’s high school field hockey teams prepare for the postseason, former local players are continuing to make their presence felt across the collegiate ranks.
From freshmen producing immediate results to experienced veterans helping guide their programs through conference competition, the 2026 season continues to offer plenty of reasons for local fans to follow along.
Last week’s LebCoSports alumni check-in highlighted several impressive performances. Another week has brought more goals, important contributions, and an opportunity to recognize additional graduates competing at the next level.
With over thirty Lebanon County graduates currently on college field hockey rosters, here is our latest look at some of the local alumni making an impact.
Weiler Strikes Twice as Messiah Continues Conference Surge
The transition from ELCO to Messiah University continues to be a productive one for Addie Weiler, who delivered another impressive performance Wednesday afternoon.
The freshman forward scored twice in Messiah’s 4-0 victory over Alvernia on October 14, helping the Falcons secure their fourth consecutive victory and remain unbeaten in MAC Commonwealth play.
Weiler’s two-goal performance brought her season totals to eight goals and one assist for 17 points, making her Messiah’s leading scorer.
The former Raider has also recorded two game-winning goals and established herself as a regular starter despite being only a few months removed from her final high school season.
Messiah entered conference competition following a challenging nonconference schedule that included several nationally competitive opponents. The Falcons have since found their rhythm, improving to 7-5 overall and 4-0 in the MAC Commonwealth.
For Weiler, her ability to deliver against collegiate competition has made her one of Lebanon County’s most productive first-year college athletes this fall.

Hibshman Building on Championship Success at Stevenson
Few Lebanon County graduates entered the 2026 collegiate season with more momentum than Kailen Hibshman, the former ELCO Raider now competing at Stevenson University.
After producing 10 goals and six assists during her freshman campaign in 2025, Hibshman helped the Mustangs capture the MAC Commonwealth championship and advance to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time in program history.
The sophomore has continued making an impact this fall, recording two goals and three assists for seven points through 12 starts. She has also taken 30 shots and contributed a game-winning goal.
One of her most impressive performances came September 30 against St. Mary’s College of Maryland, when Hibshman assisted on all three Stevenson goals during a shutout victory that moved the Mustangs to 9-0 at the time.
Hibshman brought an impressive résumé to the college level. During her time at ELCO, she established school career records with 76 goals, 58 assists, and 207 points.
Now in her second collegiate season, she continues to demonstrate the offensive creativity and scoring ability that made her such a productive player in the Lancaster-Lebanon League.

Russell Contributing During Senior Campaign at Richmond
For Avery Russell, the journey from Palmyra to the University of Richmond has included championship memories, injury challenges, and the opportunity to compete at the Division I level.
Now a senior forward/midfielder for the Spiders, the 5-foot-6 Russell has appeared in 12 contests this season, recording one goal.
She found the cage in Richmond’s 5-2 victory over William & Mary on September 20, helping the Spiders continue a successful opening stretch of the campaign.
Russell also contributed to Richmond’s October 2 victory over La Salle, applying sideline pressure that helped force a turnover and set up a goal during the Spiders’ 8-1 win.
Her senior season has followed a difficult 2025 campaign in which a broken thumb interrupted her playing time.
Before heading to Richmond, Russell was part of Palmyra’s 2020 PIAA Class 2A championship team, giving her experience competing for championships at both the scholastic and collegiate levels.
Richmond entered the weekend with a strong 8-5 record following a narrow 3-2 overtime loss to Delaware on October 16.
