Track & Field: 2025 LebCo All-County Voting – Round 5: Hurdles

Introducing the nominees for the 2025 LebCo All-County Track & Field Team! Selecting this talented group of top performers was no easy task. Now, we need your help to rank them.

The Hurdles make up the 5th round of voting! Please read the nominations and then find the “Vote Here” icon to cast your vote for who you feel deserves top honors.

There are a total of seven rounds of voting. Each round is open for five days. Still left to vote on will be Relays & the T&F Athlete of the Year

It is always worth noting that the main purpose for these votes is to draw attention to the wonderful accomplishments of our hard working student-athletes.

Round 5: Hurdles

Round 5 voting open until 8/1. Round 6 will be available tomorrow.

Girls

Bre Etherson (ELCO / Sr.)

Etherson offered ELCO a solid option in the 100m High Hurdles, running a season-best of 16.44. She ended her high school career as a District 3 Qualifier. Etherson was also a member of the school-record-setting 4x100m Relay team.

 

Johbrianna Long (Northern Lebanon / So.)

At the Lebanon County Championship Meet, Long placed 3rd in the 100m High Hurdles and helped the Vikings’ 4x100m Relay team to a 5th place finish.

 

Kya Missimer (Annville-Cleona / Sr.)

Running season-best times of 16.44 and 48.78, Missimer was a District 3 AA Qualifier in both the 100m High Hurdles and 300m IM Hurdles. At Districts, she took 6th in the 300m and 8th in the 100m Hurdles. At the Lebanon County Championship Meet, Missimer earned silver in the 300m.

 

Julia Sattele (Palmyra / Sr.)

At the Lebanon County Championship Meet, Sattele finished 2nd in the 100m High Hurdles and 3rd in the 300m IM Hurdles. She posted season-best times of 16.73 and 49.10, respectively.

 

Makenzie Wamsher (Cedar Crest / Jr.)

At the Lebanon County Championships, Wamsher was the champion in both the 100m High Hurdles and the 300m IM Hurdles. In the 300m, she set a new Cedar Crest school record of 46.1 and finished 3rd at the LL League Championships. She was a District 3 Qualifier in both events.

 

 

 

 

Boys

David Boyer (Northern Lebanon / Sr.)

At the Lebanon County Championship Meet, Boyer medaled in both hurdle events, placing 4th in the 300m IM Hurdles and 5th in the 110m High Hurdles. His season-best times were 17.34 and 42.59, respectively.

 

Tyler Burgess (Palmyra / Sr.)

Burgess finished out his high school career by repeating as the PIAA State Champion in both the 110m High Hurdles and the 300m IM Hurdles. In the 110m HH, he set a new PIAA record with a time of 13.63 in the prelims. Earlier in the season, he ran the 8th fastest time ever by a high school athlete—13.28—at a major invitational. His season-best in the 300m was 37.04. He graduated holding District 3 records in both events. Burgess, who was also a member of the 4x100m and 4x400m Relay teams, will continue his athletic career at Texas Tech.

 

Noah Stewart (Palmyra / Sr.)

At the Lebanon County Championship Meet, Stewart placed 2nd in the 110m High Hurdles. He qualified for the District 3 Championships, where he ran his season-best time of 15.51. His best time in the 300m IM Hurdles was 43.90.

 

Malachi Victor (Cedar Crest / Sr.)

Victor was a District 3 Qualifier in the 110m High Hurdles. His season-best time of 15.86 earned him 6th place at the LL League Championships, qualifying him for Districts.

 

Jack Waranavage (Cedar Crest / Sr.)

With a top time of 15.76 in the 110m High Hurdles, Waranavage was a District 3 Qualifier. He placed 6th at the LL League Championships with that time.
