Track & Field: 2025 LebCo All-County Voting – Round 4: Distance

Introducing the nominees for the 2025 LebCo All-County Track & Field Team! Selecting this talented group of top performers was no easy task. Now, we need your help to rank them.

Distance makes up the 4th round of voting! Please read the nominations and then find the “Vote Here” icon to cast your vote for who you feel deserves top honors.

Each of the next seven days, a category will appear for voting. Each round of voting open for five days. Still left to vote on is Hurdles, Relays, & the T&F Athlete of the Year

It is always worth noting that the main purpose for these votes is to draw attention to the wonderful accomplishments of our hard working student-athletes.

Girls

Amber McCurdy (Palmyra / So.)

McCurdy earned silver in the 1600m and bronze in the 800m at the Lebanon County Championship Meet. Her season-best times were 5:35.28 in the 1600m and 2:31.73 in the 800m. She also contributed to Palmyra’s 4x800m relay, which placed 8th at the Mid Penn Championships.

 

Eliana Schneider (Cedar Crest / Jr.) 

In addition to her success in the javelin, Schneider showed impressive range by excelling in the 800m. She was the Lebanon County Champion in the event, ran a season-best time of 2:14.7, and placed 3rd at the LL League Championships.

 

Elsie Shuey (Northern Lebanon / So.)

Shuey finished 4th in the 1600m at the Lebanon County Championship Meet, clocking a time of 5:52.3.

 

Mackenzie Stellmach (Annville-Cleona / Jr.)

Stellmach claimed the 3200m title at the Lebanon County Championship and went on to win the District 3 AA crown in the event. She finished 10th at the PIAA State Championships with a season-best 11:14.53. She also earned District medals in the 1600m (6th) and as part of the 4x800m relay (2nd).

 

 

 

 

Boys

Cohen Claar (Palmyra / Sr.)

 At the Lebanon County Championship Meet, Claar placed 4th in the 800m. He then went on to finish 6th at the Mid Penn Championships with a season-best time of 1:58.05, qualifying him for Districts. He also earned a District 3 medal as a member of the 8th place 4x800m team. Claar was also called upon to run on the 4x400m that clinched a Palmyra victory at the County meet.

 

Cornelius Cummings (Palmyra / Jr.)

In the 1600m, Cummings ran a season-best time of 4:25.23, qualifying for Districts. Beyond his individual times, Cummings served as a key leg on both the 4x400m and 4x800m relays, which both medaled at Districts and helped lead Palmyra to the District 3 AAA Team Championship.

 

Travis Furmanski (Cedar Crest / Jr.)

Furmanski continued to make his mark in the 3200m on his way to a 7th place finish at the PIAA State Championship Meet following a 2nd place finish at Districts. His best time came at States, running a Cedar Crest record 9:12.53. At the Lebanon County Championships, he was crowned champion in both the 1600m and 3200m, with a season-best of 4:20.07 in the former.

 

Luke Hentz (Northern Lebanon / Jr.)

Hentz was a District 3 qualifier in both the 800m and 1600m. His season-best times were 1:58.97 and 4:27.93, respectively. He was also a member of Northern Lebanon’s 4x400m relay.

 

Landon Hostetter (Annville-Cleona / Sr.)

Hostetter won the District 3 AA Championship in the 3200m before placing 10th at States with a season-best time of 9:32.50. At Districts, he also placed 4th in the 1600m with a 4:24.82. Hostetter was a key member of the 4x800m relay that finished 5th at the PIAA State Championships.

 

Chad Keller (ELCO / Sr.)

Running a season-best 1:59.90 in a talented field, Keller finished 4th at the Lebanon County Championship Meet. He also helped ELCO’s 4x800m relay team to a 4th place finish at the LL League Championship and a 12th place finish at the District 3 Championships. Keller plans to continue his running career at LVC.

 

Owen Kreider (Lebanon / Sr.)

While starring in Lebanon High School’s performance of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Kreider remained focused on middle-distance training. He finished 2nd in the 800m at the Lebanon County Championship Meet and 11th at the District 3 Championship. Kreider also anchored the Cedars’ 4x800m relay, which placed 7th at Districts. His season-best in the open 800m was 1:58.75. He plans to run at LVC.

 

David Moran (Annville-Cleona / Jr.)

Building on his bronze medal finish in 2024, Moran surged to win the 800m State Championship. He was also the District 3 AA and Lebanon County Champion in the event. His season-best was 1:55.91. He also ran 51.14 (400m), 4:27.33 (1600m), and helped Annville’s relays earn a 5th place medal in the 4x800m at States.

 

Gavin Sheetz (Lebanon / Sr.)

Sheetz ran season bests of 9:46 in the 3200m and 4:28 in the 1600m. A major contributor to Lebanon’s 4x800m team, Sheetz helped the squad place 7th at Districts. He plans to continue his running career at West Chester University.
