Lebanon Hosts Star-Studded Wrestling Clinic

This past weekend, the 4th Annual Lebanon Wrestling Camp welcomed 33 wrestlers to the three-day clinic. Coach Vaughn Black once again assembled some of the best wrestling talent found anywhere to work with the athletes in attendance. Day 1 welcomed instruction from Kenny Courts, a former two-time PIAA State Champion who went on to earn NCAA All-American honors while wrestling at Ohio State. On Day 2, James Green, a current coach at the University of Nebraska, taught key skills. Green is a former Big 10 Champion, six-time World Team member, and silver and bronze medalist on the international level. Day 3 brought a special treat as Griffin Gonzalez (Lebanon ’23) imparted the knowledge that he used to help him win two State medals and additional skills he has learned while competing at Lehigh University. The campers not only had fun, but will be a much tougher draw the next time they hit the mats.
