Bowling Results Tracker: January 9-12

 

While we cannot promise to always bring you the latest from the lanes, we wanted to take the opportunity to share with you what has been going on recently in the realm of LebCo Bowling. The hope is to keep this in a rolling format each week, but once again, we can only do our best in bringing you the latest.

Friday, January 12

ELCO 7, Garden Spot 0

The Raiders from a strong day put forth by Hunter Heinsey as he led the team’s effort in sweeping the Spartans. Heinsey rolled 224 – 212 – 180 in three games to total a 616 series. Bryce Shaud stepped up as the #2 bowler for ELCO, as he scored 531 going 151 – 169 – 211.

Thursday, January 11

 Ephrata 7, Lebanon 0 

Dakota Folsom-Brasley led the Cedars with a 552 series after going 190 – 171 – 191 over the course of three games. Alexa Lopez bowled a 487 series after bowling a 205 in her first game, which was the high game on the day for the team.

Northern Lebanon 7, Lancaster Catholic 0

The Vikings scored a major victory as they defeated the Crusaders by just under a thousand pins on their way to earning the sweep. Charlie Albright again led the winning effort, bowling a consistent 203 – 202 – 213 for a 618 series. Brentin Sherman (556) and Brandon Diamond (551) were also above the 500-pin mark for the day. Paxton Horner, who competed at the JV level for the first two games before being subbed in to finish the day, totaled a 544 series over the course of the afternoon.

Penn Manor 7, Cedar Crest 0

Toby Zombro put together a 594 series and Paxton Thomas rolled a 573, but Penn Manor was just too strong for Cedar Crest to overcome. Zombro’s series included games of 157 – 221 – 216. Thomas pieced together a 195 – 166 – 212.

Tuesday, January 9

Warwick 5, Cedar Crest 2

For the Falcons, Paxton Thomas led the way with the top score of the day. In fact, his 754 series was 102 pins better than the next closest bowler from either team. His totals for the three games were: 259 – 217 – 278. In the third game, he picked up a spare, but was otherwise perfect in the round. The Falcons picked up two points when they won the 2nd game of the day.

Conestoga Valley 7, Lebanon 0

Conestoga Valley was locked in on their way to totaling 3,000 pins for the day. Dakota Folsom-Brasley was the top Cedar on the day, rolling a 520 series with a 212 high game.

Northern Lebanon 7, Lancaster Mennonite 0

The Vikings used a strong 1-2 punch with Charlie Albright and Brentin Sherman led them to victory. Albright totaled a 571 series with a high game of 215. Sherman was the day’s leading bowler, totaling 584 pins with a high game of 203. Dominick Judkins also broke the 500-pin mark as he knocked over 512.

Monday, January 8

Lampter-Strasburg 7, ELCO 0

ELCO was within Morgan Kline, who is in Las Vegas Bowling in the US National Trials. Back in Pennsylvania, Hunter Heinsey stole the show with a 732 series, the highest from either team. Heinsey’s series was made up of the following game totals: 242 – 278 – 212. Unfortunately, his effort did not help the Raiders to take any points from a dominant team from Lampeter.
