Saturday, December 17

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Mifflin County 56, Palmyra 38

Northern Lebanon 32, Brandywine Heights 25

BOYS BASKETBALL

Octorara 80, Northern Lebanon 44 (Vikings Voight & Krall combined for 15 rebounds)

WRESTLING

Northern Lebanon competed at the 2-day King of the Mountain Tournament. Aaron Seidel won the 107# title, Clayton Erb was 5th at 215#, and Sam Wolford earned his spot on the podium with a 7th place finish at 114#.

Lebanon competed at the Donegal Holiday Tournament. Griffin Gonzalez won the 160# division and was named most outstanding wrestler for the second straight year at this tournament. Eddiean Naphtali also brought home hardware with his 6th place finish in the 127# weight class.

ELCO was also at Donegal and took 3rd as a team. The following Raiders made the podium: Ashton Kriss 2nd in 114#; Zane Trostle 2nd at 127#; Steve Rosado 2nd at 127#; Mitchell Frederick 6th at 152#; Elias Krow 5th at 160#; Isaiah Angley 5th at 189#; Kyle Miller at 4th at 215#.


Friday, December 16

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Cedar Crest 30, Hempfield 23 (Final; Crest paced by Brooke Shutter’s 15 points)

Lampeter Strasburg 52, ELCO 43 (Final)

Harrisburg Christian 34, New Covenant 33 (Final; Alyssa Quinones had 11 points for the Flames, while Miracle Hershey had 8 points, 12 rebounds, & 8 steals)

Lebanon 53, Manheim Township 50 (Final/OT; Correa with 25 points, 8 rebounds & Brandt with 14 points including the 3 pt that put Lebanon ahead for good; as a team, the now 5-0 Cedars, were 5-6 from the charity stripe)

 

BOYS BASKETBALL

Manheim Township 61, Lebanon 44 (Final; Eman Mason led the Cedar offense with 12)

Cocalico 64, Northern Lebanon 47 (Final; Leading scorers for the Vikes were Riley Clinger with 14 and Brady Krall with 10)

Palmyra 52, Mifflin County 41 (Final)

Hempfield 61, Cedar Crest 46 (Final; Leo Tirado scores 13 for the Falcons, Owen Chernich with 12)

Lampeter Strasburg 69, ELCO 35 (Final; Dallas George had 9 for the Raiders)

New Covenant 71, Harrisburg Christian 46 (Colson Hess -17, Ben Hartman – 16, & Sam Balsbaugh 12 lead the scoring for the 5-0 Flames)

 

BOWLING

McCaskey 5, Cedar Crest 2 (CC’s top three scorers: Toby Zombro 626, Paxton Thomas 576, &  Madden Smith 546; Thomas with 245 game)

WRESTLING

Northern Lebanon is competing at the King of the Mountain on Friday & Saturday.  Here are their results from Friday’s matches.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Northern Lebanon 29, Cocalico 27 (Hayley Sheroky hits go-ahead layup with 4 ticks remaining; Northern Lebanon is now 3-0 to start the season)

 

BOWLING

Northern Lebanon 5, Lancaster Catholic 2 (NL wins a tight match-up, essentially 8 pins, with Charlie Albright leading the way – high game  215 and a 593 series)

 


Wednesday, December 14

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Cedar Crest 43, Warwick 36 (The Lady Falcons are now 5-1; Brooke Shutter led the scoring with 12, while Allison Metzger finished with 11)

Annville-Cleona 45, Oley Valley 41 (Double OT; Ava Hoover led the way with 16 points)

Cedar Crest 50, Twin Valley 24 (Lizzie Lowe led CC with 18 in the W)

New Covenant 30, Lancaster County Christian 22 (Miracle Hershey recorded a triple-double for NC: 12 points, 14 rebounds, 11 steals!)

Lebanon 51, Governor Mifflin 45 (For the Cedar, Kailah Correa had 19, Lilliana Harrison with 12)

ELCO 58, Hamburg 52 (Raiders stage rally in 4th to erase an 11 point hole to force OT, go on to victory; Marquette with 16, while George scored 14)

Hershey 55, Palmyra 34 (Roesch led the Cougars with 9 points, going 3-5 from deep)

Governor Mifflin 53, Lebanon 49 (Jaidyn Mercado and Emanuel Mason each with 16 points for the Cedars)

Oley Valley 58, Annville-Cleona 30 (Shay led AC with 8 points)

New Covenant 59, Lancaster County Christian 34 (Hartman led NC with 24, while Vanderploog was in double digits with 11)

BOWLING

Northern Lebanon 7, ELCO 0 (Charlie Albright of NL led all bowler with a 637 series and a 246 high game; ELCO was led by Hunter Heinsey 609/237)

Elizabethtown 7, Lebanon 0 (Lebanon was led by Josh Perugorria’s high game of 227)

*Match scoring combines the top scores of a team’s five bowlers.  Two points are awarded per game.  An additional point for the team that wins the three-game series.
