Cedar Crest Girls Basketball Season Outlook
The Cedar Crest Falcons enter the 2025–26 season riding the momentum of back-to-back Lancaster Lebanon League Championships. Coming off a successful summer spent developing chemistry between returning varsity players and incoming contributors, the program looks to continue its tradition of excellence despite graduating eight key seniors from last year’s roster.
Leading the returning group are seniors Cam Tirado and Owen Outman, both rotational contributors on last year’s championship team. Tirado brings explosiveness on both ends of the floor and will be tasked with defending opponents’ top perimeter threats. Outman provides inside-out versatility and is expected to anchor the middle of the offense while defending opposing big men.
A talented crop of newcomers—seniors Alex Jacoby, juniors Antonio Tirado, Garrett Starry, J’Cian Gentry, Jaxon Bechtold, Kai Speaks, and sophomores CJ Hallman, Jackson Smith, Jemar Pauleus, Steven Reyes —adds depth, athleticism, and scoring potential. These players are expected to push for minutes immediately and help sustain the program’s competitive edge.
Although this year’s team is young and inexperienced, it is brimming with talent. Success will hinge on how quickly the Falcons acclimate to the pace and physicality of Section 1 basketball. The schedule provides immediate challenges, with non-league games against Milton Hershey and Muhlenberg setting the tone for a rigorous season.
Under Coach Tommy Smith, whose skill in developing talent has consistently translated into meeting high expectations year after year, Cedar Crest aims to continue its streak of competitive excellence and vie for another Lancaster Lebanon League title.
