ELCO Boys Basketball Season Outlook

The ELCO Raiders enter the 2025–26 campaign with one of the most experienced and senior-laden rosters in Section 3, setting the stage for a season filled with high expectations and championship aspirations. With a strong core returning and several key additions poised to contribute immediately, the Raiders are primed to contend in what is annually one of the toughest sections in the Lancaster Lebanon League.

ELCO’s foundation begins with a veteran group that has logged significant varsity experience over the past several seasons. Kaden Shultz Tillison, one of last year’s leading scorers, returns after averaging double figures and providing reliable perimeter production. Austin Smith, a rangy and athletic combo guard, offers versatility on both ends of the floor. Josiah Hayes, now an upper-class leader, has played meaningful minutes since his sophomore year and brings valuable steadiness to the rotation. Paul Williams provides the Raiders with size, strength, and physicality inside, serving as an anchor in the paint.

The Raiders also welcome several notable newcomers expected to make an impact. Senior Cole Doster brings a tremendous motor and energy, while juniors Griffin Kreider and James Dolan add athleticism, shooting ability, and depth at the guard spots. Each is expected to push for minutes and elevate the team’s competitiveness.

With a roster stacked with experience, strong leadership, and athletes who have put in exceptional offseason work, the Raiders enter the year with clear goals. ELCO expects to challenge for a Section 3 championship and position itself for postseason success.

A seasoned group, a renewed confidence, and a collective hunger to take the next step all point to a promising season ahead in Myerstown.
