Lebanon Boys Basketball Season Outlook
After enduring two winless seasons, Lebanon made significant strides in 2024–25, finishing 7–15 overall and 4–6 in Section One play. The team will miss six seniors who contributed major minutes to last year’s progress, but returns a core of young players with valuable varsity experience.
Sophomore Derek Franco, who was voted 2nd Team All-County after a standout freshman season averaging 12.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists, anchors the offense this year. Senior Daryan Rodriguez and Reese Williams provide leadership and experience, while juniors Alec Wolfe, Manny Martinez, and Julian Padillas help stabilize the rotation. Rising contributors Gauge Soliday, Sebastian Gotay, and Noriah Jones are expected to compete for meaningful playing time and expand the team’s depth.
Under fourth-year head coach Kris Uffner, the Cedars aim to build on last season’s momentum, continue developing young talent, and compete in the always-tough Section One. The focus remains on growth, effort, and consistency, with the goal of improving the team’s record while establishing a strong, competitive culture.
