Palmyra Turns in Strong Performances Against Tough Milton Hershey Squads
Facing a pair of strong Spartan teams on Tuesday, Palmyra’s track and field squads were tested on the road at Milton Hershey. Even though the Cougars came up short in both team competitions, there was still plenty to like from a meet that featured several event wins, quality depth, and a number of standout individual marks.
Milton Hershey earned a 78-72 victory over Palmyra in the girls meet and an 87-63 win in the boys competition. Still, the Cougars answered with a long list of winning efforts across the track and in the field, showing the kind of balance that should serve them well heading into a busy stretch of the season.
