On Monday and Tuesday, Annville-Cleona competed at the Governor Mifflin Girls Tournament, placing 17th out of the 23-team field.
The Dutchmen were led by Kora Wolfe, who turned in a standout performance to finish second at 136 pounds. Wolfe ended the tournament 3–1, earning three pins on her path to the finals, including falls in the championship rounds, quarterfinals, and semifinals, before dropping a hard-fought battle in the title match.
Annville-Cleona also received contributions from Lillian Manwiller at 124 pounds. Manwiller opened with a pin in championship action and added another fall in the consolation bracket before ultimately finishing seventh after a challenging run through a deep weight class.
At 112 pounds, Jayloni Andujar picked up two pins on the day, one in the opening championship round and another in consolation action, gaining valuable mat time against strong competition.
On Saturday, the Cedar Crest Girls Wrestling team competed at the Penn Manor New Years Rumble, finishing 11th out of 36 teams in a deep, highly competitive field. The Falcons’ effort was highlighted by four podium finishes, along with several additional match wins throughout the lineup.
Cedar Crest was led by Lilliana Bohn, who delivered a strong performance at 155 pounds to earn a third-place finish. In the third-place bout, Bohn controlled the match from start to finish, winning by an 18–6 major decision over Emma Shervin of Upper Dublin. The sophomore put together an impressive tournament overall, mixing decisions and pins, and now sits at 12–5 on the season.
At 124 pounds, Lily Harchuska made a deep run through the bracket, rebounding after an early setback to reach the podium with a fourth-place finish. Harchuska battled through the consolation rounds with a pin and a major decision to secure her spot.
Madelyn Shanfelder also placed fourth at 142 pounds after an impressive tournament that included a technical fall in the championship rounds and multiple pins in consolation action before reaching the third-place match.
Sophia Ventura added another podium result with a fifth-place finish at 235 pounds. Ventura recorded several quick pins during her run, including a fall in the fifth-place match to close her day.
Cedar Crest also picked up key wins from Molly Garrett, Vanessa Yiengst, and Aaliyah Gill, each earning victories that helped push the Falcons into the top third of the team standings.
Busy Weekend on the Mats – Six LebCo Teams Compete, Rack Up Medals

The Northern Lebanon Girls traveled to Williamsport on Saturday, where they competed at Liberty Arena in the Matness at the MACC. The Vikings finished 13th out of 19 teams in the round-robin style event.
Northern Lebanon’s lone placer on the day was Dakota Dengler, who turned in a strong performance at 142 pounds. Dengler went 3–0 during the round-robin portion, picking up two pins and a technical fall to advance to the semifinals. After suffering her first loss of the tournament, she bounced back in the bronze medal match, earning a pin to secure third place.
Several other Vikings picked up wins throughout the tournament. Sophia Opazo recorded two pins at 100 pounds during round-robin action, while Madison Schmitt picked up a pair of victories at 106 pounds. At 124 pounds, Johbrianna Long notched a pin in round-robin competition and followed it up with a 6–2 decision win in the placement round.
The Palmyra Cougars competed Saturday at the Penn Manor New Years Rumble, finishing 25th out of 36 teams in a large and competitive field.
At 112 pounds, Cala Hipple who opened the tournament with a quick pin in championship action and later added a technical fall in the consolation rounds to earn key team points.
Riley Zettlemoyer also delivered a strong performance at 118 pounds, finishing 2–2 on the day, with both of her wins coming by pin. The York College commit advanced to the consolation rounds and was stopped just short of the podium, dropping a hard-fought 11–10 decision to Reading’s Amaya Ramos.
At 130 pounds, Cadence Manney rebounded from an early setback with two pins in the consolation rounds, including a lightning-quick fall in just 18 seconds. Hailey Murphey added a pin at 136 pounds, while Abigail Bennett picked up a decision victory at 148 pounds.
Additional points came from Sachelyz Ortiz Davila, who recorded a quick pin in consolation action at 155 pounds, as Palmyra continued to battle through a deep bracket featuring teams from across the region.
