Lebanon 42, Manheim Township 32
Prior to Wednesday, Manheim Township sat tied for first place in Section 1, until a loss to Cedar Crest reshuffled the standings. On Friday night, Lebanon had a chance to build on its three-game winning streak while further shaking up the league picture.

Northern Lebanon 38, Lampeter-Strasburg 37
Entering Friday night, Lampeter-Strasburg remained the only team left unscathed in a very tough Section 3. Visiting Northern Lebanon had a chance to shake things up further, but first had to get past the Pioneers, who are among the District 3 leaders in Class 5A.
The game got off to a slow start, with the two teams combining for just six points in the 1st quarter. Northern Lebanon’s lone bucket came courtesy of Hayley Sheroky.
In the 2nd quarter, the pace picked up. Kasey Weimer drilled a three-pointer on her way to five points in the frame, helping the Lady Vikings take an 11-10 lead into halftime.
The 3rd quarter remained tightly contested, as Sheroky and Weimer each connected from beyond the arc to give Northern Lebanon a two-point advantage heading into the final eight minutes.
In the 4th quarter, the tempo slowed as both teams made frequent trips to the free-throw line. With the pressure on, Northern Lebanon held firm to secure the one-point victory, led by Sheroky, who went 8-for-10 from the line in the final quarter while also knocking down a clutch three-pointer.
Sheroky finished with 16 points, while Weimer joined her in double figures with 10 points.

Northern Lebanon 33, ELCO 29
In a matchup carried live through a collaboration between LebCoSports.com and YG Productions, ELCO made the trip to Northern Lebanon on Monday night for a hard-nosed county showdown. From the opening tip, it was clear this one would be decided by defense, toughness, and execution.
Offense was hard to come by early, as both teams settled in defensively. After one quarter, the score was knotted at 6–6, highlighted by a three-pointer from Ava Beck for ELCO and four early points from Hayley Sheroky for the Vikings.
The grind continued in the 2nd quarter, with Northern Lebanon using balanced scoring to inch ahead. Four different Vikings found the basket in the period, allowing the hosts to carry a slim 13–11 lead into halftime. ELCO stayed within striking distance behind a three from Riley Bennethum and a strong finish in the paint from Adryana Daniels.
Northern Lebanon maintained control in the 3rd quarter, stretching the margin slightly as Saoirse Phillips chipped in four points to push the lead to 24–21 entering the final frame.
In the 4th quarter, the Vikings looked ready to create separation as Kasey Weimer sparked the offense with a three-pointer, a field goal, and a pair of free throws. ELCO refused to fold, however, as Kenzie Eckhart went a perfect 4-for-4 at the line and Daniels added four points to pull the Raiders within two late. Still, Northern Lebanon answered at the stripe in the closing moments to fend off the rally.
Weimer led all scorers with 12 points for Northern Lebanon, while Eckhart paced ELCO with nine.
Northern Lebanon (9-2) will be back on the road Friday night when it travels to Lampeter-Strasburg. ELCO (7-5) will also be in action Friday, hosting Lancaster Catholic.
